Let me start by saying I think they should remove the "dual role" selection idea, and scrap it for the sake of single role selection. To be honest, I play mainly support and only put, for example, mid to fill in the blank for secondary role. I ONLY want to play support, however, it feels like there's about a 50/50 shot that I will get it. Sometimes I get a role that I didn't even queue for...I would rather sit in a longer queue for a few more minutes, rather than have a 10 second queue just to get a role that I do not want. It's frustrating playing with a friend and wanting to be a bot duo, and then end up getting some random third choice like top or jungle. If replacing duo role selection with single role selection proves to be too tall of a task, maybe just make it possible for people to leave a match lobby if they got a role that they don't want without giving them a matchmaking cooldown timer. I don't know, maybe everyone loves the idea of "dual role" selection, but it's particularly frustrating having to sit through a game playing a role you don't want with a friend...
