Yesterday I picked adc in ranked and got a
Blitzcrank "supp". He started with
Long Sword and potions... that's cool, I respect unusual builds. But then in lane he started hitting minions randomly and then chase enemy adc+supp all the lane there and back again. Of course he died several times doing that. He continued his build with
Blade of the Ruined King, didn't bother with wards of course... and started roaming. We won, but I still don't understand how... our Lee carried us hard. I could do very little, because Blitz was dead half the time and they could dive me every time jungler or mid came to gank... Blitz's end score was 1/19/18 I think. My was 7/13/12 :(

Has anyone ever lost to an odd build? I can say that I have lost to an ADC LeBlanc, and an AP Nasus. You would think you could easily win against those builds, but you end up staring at your screen with "Defeat" across, screaming at yourself as to why you lost to such a build.

Thank you to Emikadon for this sig!
I once supported an Ashe as Braum, and things were not going well... He missed easy CS and was oblivious to easy opportunities for trades, causing us both plenty of deaths during the laning phase. He was almost playing like a bot, totally predictable and seemingly off when it came to his competence.
As we transitioned into mid-game, suddenly he was landing god arrows from across the map and easily spiked back up in gold despite the slightly unorthodox build of a
Bloodthirster,
Blade of the Ruined King,
Runaan's Hurricane,
Infinity Edge, and
Berserker's Greaves. We won because he was landing multi-kills left and right, acing them several times...
Wether or not that guy was incredibly lucky, or knew how to carry himself so well that he was messing with us on his smurf, I do not know. Either way, he was the most frustrating mute I've ever played with because he was able to beat the odds seemingly at the flip of a switch...
Other than that, there was this one time in ARAM where a duo were only building Thornmails or something like that while they screwing with both us and the enemy team.

Allow me to start. I had started a ranked game, and was playing ADC. We had someone play Elise that was supposed to go top. In champion selection, I was a little suspicious of this player, because they had automatically chose Elise without saying a word. They didn't auto lock, just never said a word. Since Elise does sometimes goes top, we shrugged it off and expected this person to go top.
The game starts, and Elise decides to follow me and my support down bot. My team starts telling her to go top, but she doesn't listen. She starts farming away, while the enemy top laner starts pushing towards our tower, so our jungler had to go cover for her. During this, every time we begged her to go top, she would just reply "Reported" again and again. Since she was trolling, she ended up walking into stupid situations, and fed a few kills to the enemy ADC and support. Surprisingly though, she actually came through with a kill or 2, but they should have been for either me or my support.
And then her build. We all know that Elise benefits the most from either an AP or tank build. Well, this troll decided to build AD, buying nothing but longswords. No potions, no boots, no wards......just longswords. Thankfully, she left the game at about 5 or so minutes in, and we obviously lost, but we did improve without her.
So, go ahead people, tell me your troll stories!
