She will never be nerfed. No matter what the LOL community asks for, Riot has stated that Akali needs all of her damage to do her job and that they will not change that.
Most of the people on LOL forums prescribe to a rule that I have observed:
"If a champ kills them three times in a match, that champ is OP and needs to be nerfed."
Akali kills people. A lot. Thus, the forum QQ. However, for her to become a champion usable in higher levels, she takes a significant amount of skill to really shine. Button mashing just won't get you there.
