I was playing on my friends level 29 that match in a 5 man premade with level 30's, he asked me for help since he has boosts ;)
It was one of the best examples since all others are no longer in my match history.

I got really fed (played AP at first).
Then they all built MR and then I just switched to AD and raped them :p
However, the enemies weren't that good and I was way more fed than anyone else in that match, so I don't know how viable it is under more natural circumstances.

I've had a few games recently where I'm playing a champion AP/AD, but our team is just getting crushed.
What is the viability of selling all your items to trade for the opposite stat?
I've literally won a few games where I started as one (in this case Master Yi) and then about 30 Minutes in sold all my items (which totaled about 7000-11000 gold, netting me 5000ish-7000ish gold, and literally farmed and pushed like crazy bringing us to victory since my team was able to fend them off at the towers while I split pushed.
Thoughts?
Which champions do you think this would be a viable strategy for? (not necessarily bding, but lets say they all build armor, so you switch to AP and crush them)
Champions I've done this with: Twisted Fate, Mordekaiser, Master Yi, Kayle, Poppy, Tryndamere, and Jax to name a few...
