Not my ideal next blog post but w/e I can't be bothered spamming the QQ thread so I'm gonna do a blanket blog post. Lately I have been playing pretty well in normals then as soon as I try ranked I go against people lower than I was winning against not long ago and lose, I know I should be able to outplay these people and most of them are higher than me anyway (B2 and 1's) but I feel like I'm under-performing, when I do win my lane some other lane has hopelessly fed and I just crumble under the pressure of having to try and solo carry should I stay away from ranked or just grind through and force myself out of the slump?
On another note, despite having the highest average kda IN THE ENTIRE GAME, Dunkmaster Jarvan didn't even crack the top ten of said list.
So, yeah, play him before the nubs realize he's op and start banning XD
so you already know that you are trying to force things you shouldn't no more help needed.
Be calm and pation, wait for opportunities, most people will try to force things and you can abuse their obvious actions if you pay action.
'Carrieng' is never possible without a proper team. you might be the fed adc, but when your frontline collapses and the enemy rushs onto you, you can only carry your *** away from the danger.
You can do incredible much for the team as support/jungler and not just setting up vision, but control the map their buffs and danger areas + get other people fed + control their dmg dealers. Time everything and write it into teamsay, give your team the information advantage and such
You will just have to try, support role is more than just babysit your useless adc till he can do dmg :D
Try jungling and supporting. Those roles have the most carrying potential if played well, to be honest.
Erm, no. Those two roles arguably have the least carrying potential. Carrying is more than contributing to your team, it implies the strength to either draw a ton of pressure single-handedly by split-pushing or winning team fights with little help from your team. Supports and most junglers are completely reliant on their team's actions to have any impact on the game. They set up plays, they can't execute them alone, unlike many champions in top, mid and adc roles.
A few junglers (hecarim, nocturne, evelynn) can carry a game with enough pressure early and mid-game, but that's more the exception than the rule.
OT: I recommend practicing mechanics in normal games if you don't want to grind and learn through ranked. Stick with a few champions per role. If you win two games as
Also if you have any higher elo friends you can ask around for help, advice or 1v1 practice for your lane matchups. Even just queueing with higher elo people in normal games might get you some more challenging matchups.
Also, remember that carrying means a whole lot more things than just killing the enemy team. Objectives, pressure, vision, don't forget those.
