Depending on what you mean by finding out, yes. Each file should be labeled closely to what it actually is the particle of.
Each particle file can be manipulated semi easily, if I remember correctly they are mostly image files that are then "

"Basically that, you would want to go into the base particle folders and replace the files that you want changed, but they have to have the same name as the original (unless you go into the actual LoL programming)."
