Vertical Redeemed is extremely powerful, because modern TFT items got changed to the point that they can't deal with such high defensive numbers. Back in Set 5 items like Last Whisper would reduce Armor Values by 70%, but now it's only 30%, making flat defensive values much more powerful.
The goal is effectively to rush for Level 8 and play 8 Redeemed either with an early Kayle or with the help of an Emblem (Spat + Cloak).
Set yourself up with Velkoz as main Carry, Rell as main tank and cap out your board with Kayle. If you have an Emblem you can put it on Garen, since he shreds the enemy MR by 50% in a large AoE Radius. Late game win condition can be 10 Redeemed or 4 Star Rell/Velkoz.
