I have been testing this for a while now and I am confident that it can work...

Jungling Leona, she can solo blue at lvl 1 and she has strong ganks but not too much damage. And I clear the jungle with her around 4 mins when starting at blue with a leash. I think that she could be a great potential jungling tank.

How i jungle with her:

Cloth +5 pots
Eclipse to start
go to blue buff and get a leash
level up either the stun or the zenith blade
wolves
wraiths (smiting big wraith)
minigolems
level up ability you did not when you hit level 2
Recall and get boots and 2 pots
then get lizard and gank!

I personally prefer her as a junlge but she is a bit slow on damage and can easily be counter jungled. As for her counter jungling abilities: Not amazing because her damage is a bit lacking. Honestly im not sure if jungle leona is as good as lane since it makes her passive a bit useless (until you gank). And leona is a very useful laning partner so im not sure. BUT I have tested this on my brothers account and it works well for me.

Tell me what you guys think: Is this somewhat viable? Could it be used in competitive play?

It might be easier to start....dare I say it Blue pot+health pots.

She's durable but the cool downs will hamper her jungle horribly. I'm sure it's possible but viable maybe not, depending on how long it would take.

She's not all that mana dependent so she could do wolves/wraiths/duo golems.

Hence the start at blue. If the cool downs are so terrible, lower them with blue buff!

depending on the runes and masteries she could still be better off with wolf/wraith/duo golem. Starting at blue would take forever for her. I'll test it out with some flat AP quints with the rest of my runes remaining the same. It's something to experiment with.

On the account I bought her on The runes that were avalible to me were all screwed up... the only thing that had 9 of the same runes were armor seals and flat health quints (I know that is not good for a jungle). I still did well in the jungle. I guess I would choose magic pen marks and magic resist glyphs?

Actually, taking mag pen marks is not the best setup if you aiming to be full tank. What you have up there is fine for 99%* of junglers.*I'm pretty sure that fiddles doesn't benefit from this setup.
