Darius hefts his axe then swings it around, dealing 50 / 80 / 110 / 140 / 170 (+1.0 / 1.1 / 1.2 / 1.3 / 1.4 per attack damage) physical damage with the edge and 17.5 / 28 / 38.5 / 49 / 59.5 (+0.35 / 0.385 / 0.42 / 0.455 / 0.49 per attack damage) physical damage with the handle. Enemies hit with the handle do not take a Hemorrhage stack.

Darius restores 15-45% missing health per enemy champion and large jungle monster hit with the edge. The handle will not heal him nor apply a Hemorrhage stack.

Okay, assuming you take Grasp of the Undying, is Veteran Scars or Runic Armor better for the heal on Decimate? On paper, Veteran Scars gives more total health, plain and simple. Runic Armor states it increases healing by X % (I'll be using 8, for my logic here, as it is the max currently), but Decimate states it heals "up to a maximum of 36%" missing health. Assuming Darius casts this at 0 health at level 1 with no external modifiers (for maximum effect, though obviously improbable), for one enemy hit by the blade: with Veteran Scars he would heal for 75 Health - With Runic armor, he would heal for 76. Minimal difference, I know, but hear me out.

Assuming he hits 3 enemies with the blade at level 18, under the same conditions, Veteran Scars heals 838, to Runic Armor's 888. That's a difference of 50 health that only gets bigger with items, and I think everyone with over 200 wins has escaped from death with less than 50 health at some point.

So, my question is, does Runic Armor heal for more than Veteran Scars in an actual game? (I've seen people control champions from different teams at the same time, and I assume this would give the most definite result. I do not have the means.) Also, if Runic Armor does not override the maximum 36% missing health cap, does it affect hitting only 2 or 1 enemy champions, instead? Rarely does an average player actually hit 3 free thinking enemy champs with the outer circle of the ability, anyway, so it's still a valid question. So, can anyone test this under such conditions? You should add, that the increased dmg only works against champions.
