I am a diamond player (currently diamond 2) my in game name is "RENB" and if you want to check out my op.gg please feel free to if you want. Last season i finished somewhere in gold without too many games and during preseason i hit platinum for the first time. This was a big deal for me because I've played the game for a very long time (over 8 years) and started when I was in 6th grade so I mainly just played normals at the time and was not actively learning much about the game. When i hit gold i remember seeing all the gold border and being envious of them, but i wanted more, so i went for platinum in the preseason for season 9, then shortly after season 9 started i hit diamond 4 and now I am currently diamond 1 with a 53% winrate and will hopefully be climbing to at least Masters before the season ends if i keep up at the rate I'm going. I've learned a lot in the past season so thats why I started making these guides, to help people with the knowledge that I have gained. Ekko can be weak in the early game, if you have issues with early game clear check this video out: https://youtu.be/kLYhqsJrRFI So you want to start W every game for the stun and shield, while jungling. After you hit 2 get your Q and do a full clear if there are no open ganks or summoner spells used. Raptors and Krugs and very valuable camps and are easily taken down by Ekko so you want to get these any chance you get. Keep in mind Ekko is one of the fastest clearing champions right now in the jungle so after you help out your lanes try to clear as much as possible or maybe look for an invade if you have vision on enemy jungle or if the enemy jungler is dead, not only does invading get you extra gold, but it also puts the enemy jungler behind so if you can invade, INVADE!

Ekko is not the strongest early game champion by himself, but he can still deliver some pretty nasty ganks. If you land your W on a laner it is almost a guarenteed kill for your team especially if the enemy does not have Flash up, so make sure to keep track of the enemy summoner spells. You can contest scuttles if your team has their lanes pushed up if your laners are pushed in then look for the other scuttle to kill.

Mid game is when Ekko really starts to shine. With your amazing ultimate and hopefully you have got some useful items by now, you want to be looking for any fight or ganks. Ekko is really strong at turret diving as well, so once you hit 6 you can actively be looking for dives too. Contesting dragons is not too hard on Ekko either, so long as you have your team to back you up, sometimes spam pinging is necessary to get your team out of the lane and to get the juicy infernal drake . Q'ing the dragon for 2 passive stacks then going in with your E smite to proc the passive is a very good way to steal Dragon/Baron, and of course ulting out.

So around this time youre probably looking to secure baron, you either want to start it yourself with your team, if they are down a member, or look to invade it with your W which can work really well if you have your team to back you up and a Zhonya's Hourglass to stall a little bit more before ulting. Ekko is also pretty good at pushing because with your W you cant really die under tower and your E does a good amount of damage to the tower as well. Ekko is a very good champion for late game because he scales pretty hard, so you shouldn't be too worried if your team gets behind early, but as with any champion make sure your always pushing and getting objectives to close out the game and secure your well deserved LP.
