This is one of those stupid off-meta builds that you come up with at 3am, Although i had a good +60% winrate with this in season 13 so it kind of can work.

The core items of the build are Bloodsong, Mercs or Tabis and Heartsteel, Although you could change these to almost any tank items depending on the enemy team and it probably would still work lol..

If you want to go with another support item, you should still always want to have Spellblade-active in your builds becuse it works so well on Gnar.

If you are ahead and need more damage, you can also go Black cleaver at some point.

Same with the build, go with whatever feels good to you. I usually go fleet footwork nowadays tho.

[Level 1-6]

Play safe (depending on your matchup). For example if you have a Sona Against you, punish by playing aggressively as much as you can. On another note, if you are against a Xerath, Play safe and wait for level 6.

[Level 6-16]

FINALLY IT'S YOUR TIME TO SHINE!!

Approaching level 6, try to stack you rage so when you turn level 6, you're ready to jump in with your E.. (Be careful to not **** up your carrys wave!!)

Your ultimate is one of the strongest engaging abilities in the game so use it well and as often as you can. A single E bounce + R could be the difference of winning and losing in the late game.

Practice the timing of jumping in so that you turn to Mega form mid-air, so you will be more unpredictable.

!!USE YOUR Q!!

Remember to spam your Q when fighting in Mega form because it's your main damage ability. Always try to pick up the boulder if you can because it reduces the cooldown on your Q by a **** ton. If you play correctly, even when you go tank, you should be getting almost top 3 most damage done.

BUT MOST IMPORTANTLY, TRY TO HAVE FUN FOR **** SAKE!! THIS IS JUST A GAME!!
