Hello guys, I'm MisterFirstBlood from EUW, and today I'm going to show you how to play Kog'Maw!

Kog'Maw, the Mouth of the Abyss, is a high-damage AD Carry with exceptional scaling potential and a unique playstyle. Known for his incredible late-game power and ability to shred through tanks and squishies alike, mastering Kog'Maw can lead to some devastating performances on the Rift. Here’s a detailed introduction to get you started on your journey with this fascinating champion

+ Outstanding late-game performance.

+ Exceptional at melting tanks rapidly.

+ Very high attack and spell range in the late game.

+ Deals a significant amount of mixed damage.

- Lack of mobility makes him easy to gank.

- Requires shields or crowd control from the team to deal damage effectively.

- Weak early game.

- Difficult to play and master.

Passive: Icathian Surprise

4 seconds after dying, Kogmaw explodes, dealing true damage to surrounding enemies.
Q: Caustic Spittle
Kog'Maw launches a corrosive projectile which deals magic damage and corrodes the target's armor and magic resist for a short time. Kog'Maw also gains additional attack speed.

W: Bio-Arcane Barrage
Kog'Maw's attacks gain range and deal a percent of the target's maximum health as magic damage.

E: Void Ooze
Kog'Maw launches a peculiar ooze which damages all enemies it passes through and leaves a trail which slows enemies who stand on it.

R: Living Artillery
Kog'Maw fires an artillery shell at a great distance dealing magic damage (increased significantly on low health enemies) and revealing non-stealthed targets. Additionally, multiple Living Artilleries in a short period of time cause them to cost additional Mana.

Kog'Maw is a champion that thrives on high attack speed to maximize his damage potential. Guinsoo's Rageblade and Runaan's Hurricane are ideal items for spreading his on-hit effects from his W to multiple enemies, thanks to their significant attack speed boosts. Additionally, Blade of the Ruined King enhances your on-hit damage and provides useful utility.

To further increase your survivability, consider purchasing Wit's End and Immortal Shieldbow. Alternatively, you can opt for Terminus and upgraded boots to complete your build.

Lethal Tempo has made a return and once again stands as the best choice for Kog'Maw. Triumph is excellent for restoring health after securing a kill, which is particularly useful since Kog'Maw often can't escape when engaged. Meanwhile, Legend: Bloodline helps with sustain and survivability, and Cut Down synergizes well with his ultimate ability's execute potential and the health restoration from Triumph.

For your secondary rune tree, I recommend enhancing your survivability by selecting the Resolve tree and picking Overgrowth and Conditioning to bolster your defenses and keep you alive longer in fights.

Set Key Bindings: Configure key bindings for moving and attack moving on your keyboard and practice using them. With an attack speed of 3-4, you won't be able to kite smoothly using only the mouse. Use the practice tool to master this. Seriously.

Chasing Enemies: When chasing an enemy, hit E first to slow them, then Q, as it's easier to land when the enemy is slowed. Activate Blade of the Ruined King and W, kite towards them, and go for the kill.

Manage Mana: Don't use R too frequently in succession, as you'll run out of mana quickly.

Red Buff: Red buff is incredibly valuable for Kog'Maw. With an attack speed of 3 or higher and your E, enemies won't be able to escape.

Ultimate Range: At level 16, your ultimate's range is incredible. Go to base, grab your farsight trinket, and try to snipe enemies.

Targeting: You don't always have to focus on killing enemy carries. Tanks won't survive for long if you attack them consistently.

Use Your Range: Utilize your range to shoot over walls like the dragon or baron pit and attack enemies from a safe distance.

At least kog maw is a good practice to handle high attack speed, orb walk and kite fluently.
But you will need good reactions and a lot of games to get better in these things. Also games can be very frustrating if your team is feeding and you get dived early.
His impact in early is very small but if you reach late it's one of the best champs.
