We had this conversation in private messages already, but I wanted to write the answer here aswell so others could see it!
So the problem with Jak'sho is that it's too expensive of an item.
Radiant virtue has the same problem, but the item has way more value than jak'sho in my opinion.
Furthermore I didn't think about this item really as I see it as a toplane item.
I have always been an ADC player but this year I discovered the support role with Nautilus and I wanted to try Alistar too... I did not even know what was his passive haha! Your guide is amazing and I learned a lot of new things not only about Alistar but things about the support role! :)
If I had to say anything to improve it I would like to see more about synergies with ADCs, eventhough it is clear on the synergy part of the guide, It would be amazing to make an extension of it. (I know It's a lot of time but it would feel amazing! :)
Lastly I would like to ask you a question, Do you think Alistar + Miss Fortune it's a good duo? Because I'm thinking of DuoQ with my friend! (We both in Silver nowadays).

Miss Fortune and Alistar is a great combo in the botlane. Your engage paired with the high amounts of damage makes a deadly duo.
So that's a pretty good question which I don't cover in the guide. My personal preference is not with AP Alistar, here is why:
1. You will be pretty squishy without ult active.
2. Your goal is not to kill someone but to CC your enemies as much as possible.
To achieve both 1 and 2 I personally see more value in building tanky. Going AP can be a lot of fun, but I would recommend other guides that do cover this topic!
