Champion Build Guide
Intro
Hi I’m Some, a Mid Player who’s devoted his life post s12 preseason to one trick mages, and a player with an affinity for one shots and troll picks. This guide will help you with one that I’ve been playing for quite some time now: Support Ahri.
Support Ahri is nothing new. Heck, HappyChimeNoises did a video on a player getting to GM with it, and I’d recommend watching it if you are interested in this pick:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DjQk7kVMkOY
That being said, I have a bit to expand on the video, but by no means am I undermining the experience and effort put in by the player in the HappyChimeNoises video. The majority of this guide will be why Ahri support is actually sleeper good, a few build paths and tune choices, and why, if you want to pick up support, Ahri is a very forgiving character for new players and veteran players alike.

Why Play Ahri Support?
Ahri Support is an incredibly flexible pick. From what abilities to max, to what items to buy, to what runes to take, Ahri can do pretty much anything. On top of this, the champ doesn’t require an in depth understanding or mechanical skill to play, but still has a really high skill ceiling, making her very fun to main. Even more so, this champ is very forgiving. Even if you miss charm, you can still do a lot of damage, and post 6 can go for very risky picks and survive very risky plays that no other support can do. The pick potential going with everfrost is a bit nuts too, due to either a guaranteed charm off of everfrost or a guaranteed everfrost off if charm. Overall an incredibly in depth pick without being overwhelming, but does require you to hit 1 skill shot to get the best results.
Why the Runes?
As I said, these are very flexible, but I’ll go through the keystones and explain each. The smaller runes are honestly whatever you want to go.
Electrocute: if you have an adc who’s not great early, this is the play. It allows you to punish a misstep and can farm summoners with ease. A more aggressive rune for an aggressive playstyle
Glacial Augment: Totally changed in preseason, but oh boy. If you can hit a charm, this **** slaps. Is a lot better for teamfights late as you can just charm the frontline and the backline gets ****ed, But is still useful for chasedowns in lane. Quite fun and quite enjoyable with the change, but you're gonna need to hit charm.
Aery: lots of fun IMO, basically you go for big burn and items that prock off of aery. Would build into a heavy tank team or botlane. Very reliable poke for support item too, as aery procks off anything.
To explain the small runes as to make it easier, you’re looking for CDR reduction and mana, so that you can spam your abilities and be affecting fights much more. The goal isn’t a fast kill, although that can definitely happen. The goal is to constantly be damaging and procking everything, and consistently affecting the fight instead of using everything and then doing nothing for 5 seconds. The runes I have are the runes I recommend, but these are not as strict as other builds.

Outro
And that’s the jist of this build. Once again, HappyChimeNoises did a great video on this pick, so I’d suggest you check it out:

And thank you to him and the player mentioned in the video for shedding light on this pick, as it is really fun and good in a number of ways. If you have any questions, add me on league: JANK JIMOTHY (NA), and I can attempt to answer them. I hope this Pick is added to your pool of wacky ****, and thanks for reading.
