Skill matchup, her laning is stronger and if she uses charm right you will have a hard time.

Just a hard counter, he can ignore your poke and outscale. An important thing to note is if he uses R on top of you early, you have a kill window as its on a very long cooldown early game.

Tough lane, he will bully you early and roam while you're stuck in lane CSing
Cassiopeia
This used to be a winning matchup, but her items are very broken as of late. Utilize your w to prevent her from using her E, its your biggest advantage in the matchup.
Diana
Pretty basic matchup, you might lose early but save your E for her E and R and you should always win.
Annie
Her simplicity is her biggest strength, but most annie players suck and will waste their stun, if they do just kill her.
Camille
Skill matchup, use your w to prevent her Q2 true damage. Use E to dodge her w poke or react to her E. Be VERY careful as she can dodge your R2 with her R.
Darius
Skill matchup, whoever gets ahead steamrolls the other. Save your e for when he pulls you in. Playing around your shroud cooldown is very important.
Ekko
Very easy matchup if played correctly, considered a hard Ekko counter. If youre going to get stunned by his W, just shroud. If he hits you with his E auto, e him and force the trade. Use ignite before he ults. Take Bone Plating and avoid standing in your minions.
Dr. Mundo
Akali struggles into tanks as is, and heres the supertank.
Aatrox
Aatrox has been heavily nerfed so is not much of a threat anymore. Stand outside of his q range to bait him to dash forward with his q, then use e. His Q is on a very long cooldown early so abuse that. This matchup becomes very easy at 6.
Gwen
Gwen's center Q damage is very very high so try your best to avoid it and youll win.
Heimerdinger
Boring lane, you win at 6 but until then you'll be sitting under tower CSing. probably take TP in this matchup, second wind forsure.
Fiora
Very broken character, but its winnable. Most important thing to keep in mind is her W cooldown, and baiting her to dash into vitals but hitting her with your e instead. Take Second Wind.
Fizz
Fizz as a champion sucks, but his threat to you is his gank setup as his R reveals you in shroud. React to his q dash with your e. Most Fizz players will try to dodge your q early with their E, so wait before using it. Take Bone Plating vs him.
Galio
Galio is easy to beat in lane, but the problem is his W taunt and his R. React to his dash with your e, and punish him for every cs he takes.
Gangplank
Unfair character. He will poke you and outscale. Dodging his abilties would be a viable solution if his passive true damage wasnt so high.
Garen
This matchup becomes easier as you understand Akali trade patterns. if you walk up to AA him use your e right afterwards to avoid his e and q. Constantly try to hit him to prevent him from regenerating with his passive.
Gnar
Easy matchup, Gnar is only a shell of what he once was. Take second wind and dshield and kill him when hes in mini form.
Gragas
Pretty hard to kill in lane, but its winnable. His e will cancel all of your dashes. Take second wind Dshield to match his sustain.
Graves
Easy matchup, Graves' biggest strength is his E armor and pushing power in lane, but Akali can kill him at most stages of the game without an issue.
Illaoi
Can actually be very hard depending on the illaoi player. Her e revelas you in shroud, make sure to dodge it. Only go in if she misses E or you think you can dodge it. Matchup is winnable at level 6. Second wind and dshield are necessary.
Irelia
Mostly a threat because of her early pressure and her BOTRK spike. Save your E incase she tries to dash onto you. W hard counters her.
Jax
Skill matchup, react to his Q jump or E with your E to space him. After he wastes his E he can be killed.
Jayce
A good Jayce will probably win this every time. Jayce will bully you and outscale. His hammer E knockback can cancel all of your dashes including R2. Try to engage right after he switches to ranged form as he is weakest then.
K'Sante
Really depends in this matchup. If he buys MR its hard, otherwise its easy. His ult is bad for him because of the way Akali R2 damage is calculated. Buy Riftmaker vs him. React to him by spacing him with E.
Kai'Sa
Her W reveals you in shroud. which is her biggest strength here. Otherwise its very easy.
Karma
Unfair character + hard counter. Her poke is absurd and her W tether reveals you in shroud so dont waste it. Rush shadowflame vs her if you can.
Karthus
Unfair character, but easier based on how squishy he is.
Katarina
Skill matchup, but Akali sided. Use your e when she dashes on you and you win the trade. It only gets easier after level 6.
Kayle
Kayle is not a strong character currently. You can bully her early and solokill her at every stage. Save your W for her R invincibility.
Kennen
Semi difficult matchup. You win at 6 but he can also win if he gets ahead.
Kled
Kled is a weak champion in general, but his W chain and his dash reveal you in shroud. Be careful early as he is very strong. Save your E to break his chain, and dont waste W.
LeBlanc
Classic pro play akali counter, though shes very weak currently. Her chains reveal you in shroud and she will hard bully you early. You can react to her W dash with your E. Its best to fight when her W is on cooldown.
Lee Sin
Lee Sin is pretty weak these days, but he hard counters you with true sight on his Q and E. He's one of the strongest early game champion so be careful.
Lissandra
Skill matchup. Take sustain runes and items. Your best bet is probably to outroam her.
Lucian
Lucian mid is weak now. Early lane might be tough but at level 6 you should autowin.
Lulu
Enchanter counters assassins by default, but Lulu in specific can easily reveal you in shroud with E and polymorph is not fair.
Lux
Her poke will hurt but its free after level 6. Dont get behind or it will be difficult.
Malphite
Pretty easy, malphite is an armor based champion and you counter that almost as hard as Sylas does.
Malzahar
This matchup is only hard if his Jungle helps him. Otherwise if he overextends you can kill him over and over.
Maokai
Very strong champion currently. His Q and saplings are broken, and he can avoid your damage with his dash so dont waste your E or R2.
Mordekaiser
He can be unkillable if he gets ahead, but save your W for his R so he cant get passive up and it will get easier.
Morgana
Only strength she has is her shield and her R as it reveals you in shroud.
Nasus
Hard because of how weak Akali is early, and the fact that Nasus outscales. Save W for his R.
Neeko
Annoying champion but easy matchup. Dont stand behind your minions to give her empowered root. Take sustain runes. You win at 6 easy.
Nidalee
Her trap and spear reveal you in shroud. React to her dash with E.
Nocturne
Before his fear goes off, use w so he cant attack. Save your e for after he uses his shield.
Nunu & Willump
Nunu mid is hard because he will perma push and roam, so its dependent on your team respecting it.
Olaf
Easy counter, space him with E and use W to avoid his attacks. Might be hard early.
Orianna
Dshield and second wind needed. If Orianna was stronger in meta she would be higher. Matchup is easy at 6, just survive lane.
Ornn
He will outscale you and provide more for his team, and tanks a lot. Buy riftmaker vs him.
Pantheon
React to his W with your E, try not to waste your E2 when he shields. Becomes easy at 6, just survive lane.
Poppy
Her w counters you and her poke is strong, but its winnable. If she is low HP and tries to ult you away save your E2 for after the knockback
Qiyana
Her damage is just higher. React to her E dash with your E, if you hit it you win. Do not recast e immediately, use it to reveal her in grass Q.
Quinn
She will be annoying early but its free after level 6. Take dshield and second wind.
Rammus
Rammus' strength is armor, and you do magic damage. If he tries to gank you just use W, dont show yourself and let him taunt you.
Renekton
Hard for many reasons. Space his E with your E. He will bully you early but this matchup is winnable.
Rengar
Broken character, his bolas and R will reveal you in shroud. Probably rush seekers and tabis if you need to.
Riven
Skill matchup, actually pretty fun. Whoever gets ahead wins. Be careful of her early game she is very strong. Dodge her Q3 knockup with your E. Play off her cooldowns, go in if she wastes them. She will try to ignore your poke with her E shield.
Rumble
Sleeper broken champion. Take sustain runes and items. He will outdamage you at most stages of the game and ignores your poke with his shield. You'll win later in the game buts its hard early.
Ryze
Ryze is hard because he outranges you and is stronger than you early + his items are broken. he can be killed but its hard. Engage after he wastes his W slow/root.
Sejuani
She will cancel your E2 and R2 with her Q dash, and she tanks a lot. React to her Q with your E, if she misses it go all in as it will be long cooldown if she doesnt hit you.
Sett
His W is his strength, so save your R1 to dodge it. Use E to space him, and shroud when he tries to stun you so he cant attack. If he gets ahead it can become very difficult for you.
Shaco
Be wary of his boxes, and save your E2 for his Q invisibility to reveal him and chase.
Shen
He is stronger than you early and has global map pressure. Use your E when he tries to dash at you and you should win trade. Hold your Q for after he uses his passive shield.
Shyvana
Sleeper broken character but its easy for Akali. Take sustain runes and items and just poke her and kill her at 6.
Singed
Save your E2 for after he throws you, this matchup is pretty easy because he cant run away from you very easily.
Sion
Killable early, unkillable later. Rush Demonic Embrace. If you get ahead early it should be very easy.
Swain
Broken character, rush Morellonomicon. Dodging his grab is the most important thing. You will win at 6 if you land E. Dodge his W with your E if you have to. Take sustain runes and items for his Q poke.
Sylas
Broken character but skill matchup. If he gets ahead you lose, if you get ahead you win (sometimes, see Faker vs Jensen outplay). Whoever lands their E wins the trade. At 6 it will become harder. Rush Morellonomicon vs him.
Syndra
Good Syndras make this hard. If she wastes E go in and kill her for free. At level 6 if you land R E combo she will die. Rushing Rocketbelt is imperative for gapclose.
Taliyah
Take sustain runes and items as she will perma push and poke. Be wary of her roams. Use W when she uses her ground rocks, and once they disappear kill her.
Talon
Skill matchup talon favored. Talons base damages are very high, but you can kill him later. Try not to recast your E immediately so you can get True Sight on him in his R.
Teemo
Sustain runes and items makes him useless. Kill him at 6. Hide in your shroud when he blinds you then use passive.
Tristana
Broken character especially after crit buffs. Save your W for her E so she cant stack it. You can kill her after 6 but try not to waste E2. Be very careful of her level 2 spike.
Trundle
Easy matchup,use your E to get over his pillar, and W to avoid his damage all together. Spacing is very important. Rushing morellonomicon may be good vs him.
Tryndamere
Hard if he gets ahead. Save your W for his R, so he cant attack you. Take ignite to help kill him after his R wears off. Use E if he dashes on top of you to space.
Twisted Fate
He can be killed in lane fairly easily but his ultimate is probably the hardest counter to you ingame. HIs r will reveal you in shroud making you very vulnerable.
Twitch
Easy matchup after 6. Careful of his roams.
Udyr
Broken champion, very hard to kill. Space him with your e and q slow.
Urgot
Dodge his E dash with your E and you should win the trade. Your W makes his W useless. Dodge his R and you win for free. His R reveals you in shroud.
Varus
Actually kind of tough matchup, if they go AP. When you dash onto him, make sure you dodge R or you lose. Take sustain runes and items.
Veigar
Save W for his cage, if he wastes cage he is a free kill.
Vel'Koz
Take sustain and rush boots to dodge his skills. His damage is very high but he is countered by your mobility.
Vex
Her R reveals you in shroud and her passive hard counters but this matchup is winnable. Take sustain runes and items and engage after she uses her fear.
Vi
Vi mid isnt very popular but dont stand behind your minions as to avoid poke, and react to her Q dash with your E. Her R will reveal you in shroud but Hourglass will hard coutner it.
Viego
Underrated midlaner. He will W to cancel your E which makes it hard. Hes very strong early because his Q passive. You win after level 6. Take sustain for his Q poke.
Viktor
Take sustain runes and items and its fairly easy. Be patient and farm until level 6. Dont try to Q poke him as he will ignore it with his shield.
Vladimir
Hard if you get behind. make sure you REALLY punish his Q cooldown and its easy. Once he is low enough HP or wastes his pool go in. Rush morellonomicon.
Volibear
Space his Q stun with your E, and go in after it expires. You hard counter him to abuse and bully him but dont let yourself get stunned.
Warwick
Winnable but hard, he sustains really well and outdamages you in sustained trades. Space him with E and poke him as much as you can. You can win after level 6, rush morellonomicon.
Wukong
He is weak vs you because his biggest strength is his armor passive. When he dashes onto you immediately E. Auto and Q him until he uses his clone, and your E will give true sight on him. Take bone plating.
Xerath
Rush boots to dodge his stuff, kill him for free after 6. Rush rocketbelt to help gapclose/dodge. Do not stand in your minion wave as his best case scenario is hitting both the wave and you at the same time.
Yasuo
Rush shadowflame vs him. Be careful of his Windwall, if you waste your E into it you will lose.
Yone
Play out of his Q3 range to bait his dash, and e onto him if he does. Bully him but dont waste Q into his W shield. Rush shadowflame is optional.
Yorick
Hard because of his split push threat and tankiness, but its winnable. Make sure to dodge his W and youll win.
Zac
Extremely broken character. He is unkillable, outdamages and outsustains you. Save your E to dodge his E jump. Rush morello if you need to. His q grab will reveal you in shroud so be careful.
Zed
Skill matchup. Punish him for every CS he tries to take. Make him choose between using shuriken on you or CS. Try not to let him dodge your E with his ult. Rushing seekers is good vs him if you need to.
Ziggs
Easy, rush boots take sustain kill him at 6. Save E2 for when he jumps away.
Zilean
Sleeper broken character, target him in fights so he cant revive the carries.
Zoe
Her E soft reveals you in shroud. Her poke is strong so take sustain. You can kill her at 6 but be careful of wasting summoner spells that she can use.
Fiddlesticks
Broken character, his W will reveal you in shroud and he can CC lock one shot you.
