Basic Ideology
The basic idea of this build is to capitalize on 2 of Gnars insane AP ratios. These 2 ratios allow him to nuke while keeping the same tanky cc champ we all love With these 2 abilities and the rest of your kit to help cc chain and escape from enemies AP gnar mid is a very viable option.
Gnar W Passive
The first one being his W passive. Gnars W at max rank provides 100%ap ratio and 14% max health damage. With the insanely high AP and attack speed of this you should be able to shred through tanks and squishies alike.
Gnar R
The second amazing AP ratio is Gnars ult. Gnars Ult provides absurd CC as well as damage. At max rank it has a 100% ap ratio, and 150% if they collide with a wall. This means that big gnar ults that would do little damage with an AD build now output insane damage while still having the same amount of CC.
