You should get penetration insteed of more ap(i agree that liandras is a better option as rabadons BUT ROA is a core item) , cuz leo scales so bad.
Btw playing leo mid ad/ap (not sure wich one is beter yet) is REALLY FUNNY, tough i shouldnt try it in a real ranked game.

Rod of Ages is a good Item, you seem to consider it as a offensive one pauloxisto, in a matter of fact is is. But it gives you also lots of Health and Mana.

So it is a 3 in one Item : Ap for more damage, Health for more sustain and mitigation, mana so yu can spam abilities.

I would better consider not to take Rabadon's Deathcap in that case cause this is only AP but Liandry's Torment instead.

Please could you update the Guide so that masteries are up to date ?

I'm fond of this champ, but always playing the same lane bothers me so I started to play other champs. seeing a Leona AP build guide is quite refreshing. I'll try and test it tonight.

I have played Leona support a lot and was quite good at it, does it help for playing her AP ?

I must disagree with you about the arrange of the items. I don't see RoA a good option for an AP which have low AP scales like leona. She can be a great mage, but with great items, such as DFG and Liandrys, to give more damage non-based on your ap scaling. Although is a nice build o/

Thanks for all the feedback, guys, it's really helpful for trying to improve my guide. I'm learning all the coding stuff, so forgive me for not having everything look amazing on the first go, I'll update it as I continue learning how to use the code on MobaFire. In response to the AP Scaling problems, I have a few things to say. First of all, Leona's AP scalings are low, but you have to keep in mind that 3 of her 4 abilities are AOE, so when your team initiates and you are in the middle of the enemy team, you will be dishing out some nice damage. Secondly, I normally wouldn't go for Rabadon's on a low AP scaling champion, but when you take into consideration that Lich Bane scales off of 85% of Leona's AP, it makes more sense to build more AP. Since Leona needs to be in melee range to get off most of her damage, you will proc Lych Bane at least twice in your full combo. This means an extra 1.7 AP scaling on top of your Q, which brings it to a 2.0 AP Scaling on just auto attacks empowered by your q. I think that this extra damage output is worth picking up Rabadon's as opposed to more utility such as CDR or an extra defensive item, but that it after all my expirimentation. After all, you are still the AP Carry, and you need enough burst damage to at least kill one of the enemy squishies. Thank you for the feedback, expect an update in the next two days or so.

There's an important rule of thumb on playing these semi-viable low AP champions though: Don't build deathcap.

DFG certainly is nowhere near viable and shouldn't be in the guide at all.

Leona's AP Scalings are too low to make this viable.

I do like the idea that you go AP tank mid. However, I don't really like the idea behind the hybrid penetration and attack damage marks. Leona isn't the best kite champion, other than her 2 seconds stun early-game. I'd rather at least get flat AP quintessences.

Also, the guide should be somewhat bigger and more coded, but that's just my opinion.
