Intro
Blitzcrank has been my favorite champ.That being said, I had no doubt on my mind who I would showcase in my first champion guide and build.I will now present to you my build that I have been working on for months....
Pros/Cons
PROS
-excellent tank caster
-Probably the best Q in the game
-Great for getting important targets directly in the middle of your team (poor
Jax)-Once he gets to level 2, he can start to melt targets by pulling into turret then knocking them airborne.
CONS
-Fairly slow
-Easy to miss grab
-No effective escape tactic
-Weak late game
Summoner Spells
Now, your probably thinking, oh just another Heal noob... and your right.Heal is an incredibly handy spell that can keep you and/or your teammate from having to leave your lane to go back to base.It can also save your life.Sounds good to me.
Just an extra kill-securing spell when
Rocket Grab is on cd and you can feel the kill on your fingertips.
Runes
Greater Mark of Magic Penetration because it allows Blitzcrank's Rocket Grab and Static Field to have slightly more damage output.I take
Greater Seal of Scaling Mana Regeneration to make Mana Barrier just ever so slightly stronger early game because of the mana regen.I take
Greater Glyph of Mana to make Mana Barrier a lot stronger throughout the game.I grab
Greater Quintessence of Health cuz....well... i am a tank.
Masteries
Items
Sapphire Crystal and 2 health pots. The mana crystal boosts Blitz's Mana Barrier and the extra health doesn't hurt either. You want to rush your Mercury's Treads for the tenacity, the magic resist, and obviously the speed. After that you should still be boosting your Mana Barrier you should get a Tear of the Goddess and turn it into a Manamune ASAP. Next you should get a frozen heart sometime soon,Then you could either get a Rylai's Crystal Scepter or Rod of Ages depending on what you need. In late game, he needs all the AP as he can get as he is fairly week late game. Then you should get another crucial tank item- Banshee's Veil.You may notice i did not include a trinity force.I do not see this as a nessesity for blitz.'Nuff said.
