However, there is one thing I think that would be important to note in the guide - the importance of the dash from death sentence. It can often be the difference between a kill and a wasted hook (since without it, your flay will often miss).
Plus you can use it as a solid escape tool, especially in the jungle or while tower-diving.
I think it's the kind of thing that feels obvious to Thresh mains so you forget to mention it.
Really nice guide but I have a question. I was a support main (I was playing thresh) and I was really good [at least for the elo I was (bronze-silver)]. Then I stopped playing support (toxic ADCs, couldn't take 1vs9 games) and I reached platinum. However, sometimes I play some games which I play support but at the mid-game I feel lost. I don't know what to do. What to you suggest me thresh god?
Have a good day!
P.S. I tried some times for your heart at youtube hope you help me here!
As a tank, Thresh wants to peel for his carries and keep them alive. That alone will win you fights. You can also do this with CDR rush but not always as well because you are squishier. This entails locking down enemy threats (assassins or carries) and peeling enemy engage (tanks or bruisers) off of whoever is strong on your team. If you've been watching my videos then you know how to peel with lantern.
Thresh does fall off the longer the game goes on though, even with max haste. But the general idea is to win lane run around the map and bop each lane with your jungler - taking dragons, heralds, and towers and pushing advantages across the map. If you watch some of my older videos or some challenger replays you'll see that's what high elo players do too.
Good luck!
Replaced Sunfire with Chemtank. Thanks for the reminder
Builds depend on team comps to some extent. If I'm dealing with multiple champions with AOE ults (say Ziggs, Ezreal, and Sona) I'd pair locket and redemption together.
Glad you liked the guide. I'm in the middle of updating it as it's still half finished and there's a lot of stuff I need to add :)
I'm making some changes :)
