I go by SopTop,(SopTop12 in-game) and I am a casual, off-meta loving League of Legends player. I have no rank at the moment, but I really like playing Garen. I picked up on the fact that Garen's Q had a 150% AD ratio, and I knew what I had to do. I recently discovered MobaFire, and decided I should share this Garen playstyle I had been playing for a while to the world. Keep in mind that this is just my first guide, and overall not anything special at all. I hope to improve on making these guides, and will hopefully improve upon them in the future.

Anyways, without further ado, here is how to play lethality Garen.

Now, lethality Garen is NOTHING like normal Garen. Whereas normal Garen is a frontline tank with a great laning phase, lethality Garen is an assassin that can pop out of nowhere and one-shot you. But before we see how to do that, we are going to look at each of Garen's abilities, and seeing what makes them so good in this build.

P (Perseverance) So this right here is gonna be your main sustain tool while laning, because after not taking damage for a few seconds, Garen regens 1.5%-10.1% of his HP. Pretty good for healing after getting poked down.

Q (Decisive Strike) Alright, this is where you shine. With this abilities 150% AD SCALING, it will dominate enemies with its (as high as I've gotten it) 980 PHYSICAL DAMAGE. This thing is absolutely insane for damage. And additionally, it applies a silence, which procs your Cheap Shot! But that's not it, it also removes all slows from yourself, so if you time it right, this thing is practically a GangPlank W. This truly is the move that makes it all come together.

W (Courage) This ability is arguably his most useless one (for this build) as it is a defensive move. Passively, this ability grants Garen some resistances every time he kills a unit, going up to an additional 30 resistances. But when you activate this ability, Garen gains 30% damage reduction, a bit of tenacity, and a shield that scales with his bonus HP.

E (Judgement) Now don't get me wrong here, this is usually a great ability, but in this build, you rarely use it outside of laning phase, due to just killing the enemy before you get the chance to. For this one, Garen spins around in circles, becoming ghosted and dealing physical damage around him. Enemy champions hit by this have 25% of their armor removed for 6 seconds. This ability can also critically strike, so it is good in synergy with The Collector.

R (Demacian Justice) The second part of the one-shot combo, you know what it is, it's the Demacian Justice. Now this is one hell of an ability. Garen calls upon the force of Demacia to just decimate an enemy champion with true damage that scales with the targets missing health. Combine this with a Cheap shot and Dark Harvest and you have one dead enemy champion.

While playing lethality Garen, your main goal as a player and human is to get to the point where you can run in and Q > R one-shot some poor soul. Ways of getting to this goal is to:

1: Hide in bushes and wait for somebody to walk by

2: Have a Yuumi hop onto you and just run for their buns

3: Actually play like an assassin and try to catch out their backline

4: Use Prowler's Claw to dash into somebody and then hit them with the combo

If your team flames you, just mute them like a responsible person. You are playing this build to have fun, not to get into online arguments. So if you have a mean team, just ignore them.

On a similar note, I would not recommend playing this in ranked modes, because there your team actually has a reason to flame you. But hey, if you think your up to the task, I cant stop ya from playing it in ranked.
