His q can damage you very well, but pre 6, he is a mostly free kill for you if played well.
Look out for his W and try to hold your E to dodge a CC that would flip the fight, dont jump away from all of his Q's.(go into dorans shield, and mythic should be Stridebreaker)
(If you belive you can do a oneshot combo on him go Prowlers with ignite)
Akali
Akali can dash in and out pretty easly with her E and W.
I recommend going Stridebreaker into Wit's End so you can damage her and having a good amount of MR.
Pre 6 is all about mind games, if you can lure her E out, you can go farm the wave more safer
Akshan
Akhsan is more of a form dependent matchup, his lvl is strong with Passive and Q, so try to poke him early.
pre 6 is okay against him.
At lvl 6 and after or during his swinging with his E jump on him and ult him onto the wall.
Camille
Her e and ult are your nightmares, before lvl 6 you need to get ahead somehow.
After 6 you are most likely doomed, her shield passive is going to protect her from an all in and her ult makes her do ap damage to you as well.
Go for either Goredrinker or Prowler into bruiser with mostly health increasing items.
In early look out for any poke she want to do.
At level 6 play around walls when you are in mega and start going away when your rage is below 25-30.
Cho'Gath
Chogath is a moderately hard matchup, his q can dmg you well so look out for that.
His W is your death if you get ganked be prepared for that.
Pre lvl 6 is easy, you can go Ignite and just kill him.
lvl 6 and after you mini gnar W is your best friend, with its max health based dmg.
Darius
He is a moderate matchup. look out for his Q and go in after he used that.
If he hooks you with E, hop away with your E and Q back to make sure he cant follow you. If he has ghost, buy Boots of Swiftness, or bring exhaust with yourself. Buy executioner second if you struggle with his Q. Pre 6 can be played well , like his past 6.
Dr. Mundo
Dodge his q, if needed bring the Glacial runes with yourself for good harrass and better kiting. look out for his passive when going in with mega form pre 6, since you cant stun him. Past lvl 6 you can start with W when engaging him and stun him with Ult.
Fiora
Fiora is another hard matchup for gnar. you can try to poke her down with your Q, Start with dorans shield and Bring fleet footwork to keep you as healthy as possible, pre 6 is hard, so just farm safely, past 6 is about a bit of mind game, fake your W and then try to stun her.
Gangplank
Gankplank in early can poke the hell out of you, so go dorans shield against him. lvl 3 can be strong against him if you are going bruiser or assasin. at lvl 6 you get a powerspike against him, as you can E onto him Ult to wall, and theres the catch, dont instant W him, cuz he has his W with him, so Q and AA him as long as hes stunned (around 1-2 hits) and then dmg and stun him. you can go fast all-in if you ARE going assasin.
Garen
You need to look out for his lvl 2 all-in since he can kill you easly with his Q+E+Ignite combo. lvl 3 is you safe lvl spike, you can slow him, proc W to speed away from him, or E away. lvl 6 is mostly a get out of jail free card.
Gwen
At lvl 1 poke her Q. At lvl 3 if she goes in to trade, you can try to trade with her, or leave her and hop away. At lvl 6 you can easly manage to kill her if you can play it well, rushing executioner after stridebreaker is a must against her passive healing.
Heimerdinger
His turrets are annoying, play it safe in the early. Go all-in at lvl 6. build assasin against him freely.
Illaoi
Her Q hits like a truck so try to dodge it, when she uses Q to hit you outside its range, poke back with your Q. look out for her lvl, since her E can damage you pretty well. for safe laning and fights, go stridebreaker or goredrinker, for more dmg go Prowler's and go lvl 6 all-in on her. Look out for her ult, since its her biggest heal source as well, so rushing executioner into your mythic is a good idea.
Irelia
You need to look out for her passived stack fights, so just try to Q her or Q at low health minions. Try to proc W when she walks up to last hit minions.
Use e to jump out from her E stun. lvl 6 fight is all fight dependent, get near megaform, start mini gnar all-in and if she try to all-in at you, you can just turn mega gnar, and ult her to the wall.
Jax
You really need to play well to survive him in early, mid and lategame as well. Try to jump away just before he would stun you. poke him with Q, and look out for his Q+E combo, lvl 6 is a get out of jail card. Start with dorans shield and fleet footwork then buy stridebreaker into deathdance.
Jayce
Look out for his lvl 3 all-in and go all in at lvl 6, buy doran's shield early game.
Kayle
You can easly kill her lvl 3, 6 and even at 11, since she's very inmobile. bring glacial to fully block her movement, or electrocute for bigger damage.
Kennen
Kennen is focused around his passive stun, so try to play around that. Go dorans blade lvl 1 for better dmg, his lvl 6 is tricky, you either want to bait out his ult or kill him before he CAN use it.
Kled
If he E's onto you hope his Q doesn't hit you, if you can dismount him, poke him, and only go all-in if you know you can kill him. Start with Doran's shield for more survivability.
Malphite
Hes tanky, He has a good amount of dmg and can set up ganks for his jg. Personal PermaBan. But if you get drafted against him, go dorans shield fleet footwork and second rune second wind to survive early game. lvl 6 can be played well, but look out for his ult and Q damage.
Mordekaiser
He has a good amount of damage at lvl 1 with his Q, so try to dodge it as often as possible. You can freely poke him with Q since he has a quite big hitbox, and i recommend rushing qss to avoid being sent to brazil, lvl 6 can be played well.
Nasus
Nasus is a major problem thanks to his !LONG AND STRONG! W slow so i recommend going phase rush against him. lvl 6 as assasin is possible kill. As bruiser, go for stridebreaker.
Ornn
Mostly easy win, early is yours with your speed, slow and mobility. lvl 6 is a bit hard thanks to his double vulnerable combo. but can be played pretty well. Look out for his Q poke, and W.
Poppy
Poppy can be troubleful if she traps you in her W zone, i recommend going Boots of Swiftness against her. Poke back when she goes up to you with passive. lvl 6 all-in is winnable.
Quinn
Quinn can be quite annoying with her E knock away, i recommend going Prowler's and time it to her E so you can ignore the knockback, lvl 6 is yours. Start with doran's shield.
Renekton
You need to look out for a lvl 3 all-in, so when he dashes forward you, just hop away and Q at him. go E at lvl 2. At lvl 6 you can play well against him. go goredrinker against him for survivability.
Riven
She is very mobile, so you need to be aware all time for an all-in. at lvl 3 try to poke her and when she goes at you, Q and jump away. lvl 6 is dependent, if you take her out before she can ult, you are okay, if you think you will not be able to, go conqueror against her.
Rumble
Start with doran's shield in early to survive early game, and lvl 6 is at your favor, you have a safe all in against him.
Sett
Sett is another hard matchup for gnar, Setts E range is a little bit biggen then gnar autoattack range so you need to think about lasthitting better, i recommend either Boots of Swiftness to be able to run away from him during his Q, or plated steelcaps for better trading.
Shen
Shens E is hardly reactable and if his Q goes trought you, he is going to take a good amount from your health. Try to play safe untill lvl 6, and go all-in with ignite against him.
Singed
Very annoying to deal with, his W grounds you so bring glacial as your runes against him, his lvl 6 all-in is a nono for you, just get away from him during his ult.
Sion
His Q range for you is not good since he can easly knock you up, look out for his W explosion damage, and try to poke him as much as you can. lvl 6 all-in is hardly winnable against him.
Tahm Kench
Tahm Kench is an easy matchup, as mini gnar you can easly dodge his Q and prow W on him, if he wants to go all-in at lvl 3 you can easly turn the battle, you just need to dodge his W knockup. lvl 6 all in is risky.
Teemo
you can go all-in with ignite at level 3 with Long Sword start, and lvl 6 is an easy kill for you, when he uses q on you, just wait a bit till you attack. Rush wit's end when needed.
Trundle
Trundle Q can slow you down very well for a short time, so i recommend Boots of Swiftness against him. If he has Ingite, look out for a lvl 6 all-in with ignite+ult. Another thing to look out for is his E, since it can cancel your E, otherwise not a hard matchup.
Vayne
She is annoying with her 3 hit true damage, but lvl six all-in is winnable, just like against quinn, use prowler's just as she uses E on you, so you can ignore her knockback. Look out for her lvl 6 all-in.
Volibear
Bring Glacial in this matchup, when he rushes at you with his Q, AutoAttack him for the slow or Q at him, at lvl 6 look out for his ult, since it get damage you well and making him unstopable for a brief moment.
Wukong
Wukong can kill you at lvl 1 so get dorans shield and fleet footwork, lvl 3 is even against wukong, as both of you can go all in, but try to get out his W before you go all-in. lvl 6 is winnable, go goredrinker against him for survivability.
Yasuo
His windwall can block your Q, putting it on a very long cd in the early game, his lvl 3 all-in is much stronger than yours, so stay back, but YOUR lvl 6 is stronger than his, go prowler's against him and try to oneshot him.
Yone
Unlike yasuo, yone is a much easier matchup, you can go all-in at lvl 3 with ignite at lvl 6 for a free kill. Look out for his ult at lvl 6.
Yorick
Yoricks ult is your biggest enemy, since you have a small attack range, try to poke it down with your Q and proc W. You can go all in at lvl 3 with ignite. lvl 6 can be played well, since his ult has a small delay.
Aatrox
You can do a pretty long cc chain on him with your ult and W and his Q and W.
In mini form you can peel for him
Ahri
Its not very likely that you will push an enemy in her E.
In mini form you cant really help her.
Akali
If you manage to chain cc an enemy, she can delete them.
in mini form the same problem as Ahri
Akshan
There not really anything you can combo with him.
In mini form still nothing.
Alistar
For a botlane roam, he is one of the best supports to set up a wall stun.
In miniform you can proc your W multiple times during his stun.
Amumu
Same as ailstar you can do a good amount of cc together.
In miniform your W will do a great amount of true damage as well.

Her W can make any roam worthful since you can ult them at it.
In miniform theres nothing you can combo with her.

There's nothing other then most likely stunning the enemy with W.

His ult is a wall, so you can chain cc the enemy very easly.
