Introduction

Willows, Oaks, and saplings of all ages, gather round. The tale of this poor tree, and my favored items, are to begin. This is the build I use on the twisted treant. Remember, this is a guide and therefore changeable. Every thing in here is my opinion on Moakai.

Runes

I choose my runes so that I can get extra movement speed, extra early defense, and some magic penetration. Moakai is a naturally slow champion, so movement speed is a good thing. Early game, you need some extra protection because of this slow speed as well. The penetration is so that you get the early game damage you need to piss off the enemy team and get them to attack you late game for your ult.

Masteries

Masteries are pretty simple. You are a tanky ability power guy. So, that's what you get.

Items

My items are early health and mana, since you will be using alot of mana to either proc your passive, or just to annoy the enemy with your sapling toss. Later, you get some armor, magic resist, and health. Finally, you get some more damage through lich bane, which will let you push like a boss against turrets.

Skill Sequence

I max saplings toss, then arcane smash, then twisted advance. I always get the ult whenever I can, since that ult has saved my *** more times then I could remember. Many enemy champions have no idea that Moakai's ultimate is dangerous until they die right before the killing blow lands on you. Or right as it does land.

Summoner Spells

You may be a tanky ap, but later game you will need to help others since your power does a nose dive later game, even with the extra ap. therefore, I stick to classic flash and teleport, so you can surprise so many enemies with a well place teleport.
