1st of all GLP cost only 2800g comparing to Ludens 3200g which is 400g cheaper. add free bots you take and you already have 700g free gold to play with which is more than 2 kills.
also, GLP is very good to set up your Q which gives you more opportunities to land your combo.
GLP is a good tool to secure ganks or to disengage from ganks
GLP lets you proc. electrocute without needing to go in aa range
with GLP you will lose the ability to one-shot casters early which is very bad in the long run for this reason you want to use all demands on caster minions you want to one-shot them as early as possible for this reason you rush early large road into Dcap instead of oblivion orb.
Overall GLP fits lux well and after you will get use to it Ludens will start to look like a joke.
