@above FINALLY someone that agrees with me. Jesus. Not carrying smite on a jungler is just BEGGING for counter jungle. I cannot tell you how many times ive countered shacos that dont have smite. they cant burst down the red, so i just smite it no problem.

Another person who thinks smite isn't necessary for jungling. It is so easy to tell if fiddle jungles or not. Really... if he is not in a lane of course he is jungling. I main jungle shaco, and I counter jungle all the time. Every time i see fiddle w/o smite, i laugh. I counter jungle him, take his buff, kill him.

It is NECESSARY to have smite when you jungle.

The same goes with Warwick. If he doesnt grab smite, we all know he can still jungle.

I know this is only a jungle build for 5v5. This is the highest rated Fiddle build anywhere. I was wondering how you would build Fiddle on 3v3, i heard he's pretty good there, but i'm not sure how to build him

You have about 60 magic penetration from runes, passive and items before Void Staff. If someone has magic resistance 100, your void staff would sure be worth 16 magic pen, but that's little low for ~1000gp. It's rare to encounter teams where more than one person has over 150 MR, where a Void Staff would be worth it's cost with the rest of build.

Either optional item to replace it, and it's basically the same build I use.

And the runes, well, CDR is good but AP is too. You just wont be needing the mana regen runes since you are jungling, and should have blue buff constantly up.

Oh no, the smite. Fiddle benefits much more from ghost. Sure Smite is effective to not have your buff stolen, but you also wont be revealing enemy team that you are jungling by not choosing smite. Gives you easier start, but is useless later game. Or even as early as after level 6.

Awesome guide. It's nearly impossible to loose a game with this fiddl. I like smite+flash as well. I'm at least as high as the solo-laning champs the whole time and don't have to waste gold on mana pots or health pots. And the money is really nice too. Zhonyas ring is no problem in early mid game and ganking is also possible without ghost, thanks to terrify. No champ can escape ulti+terrify+drain at level 6. And with flash you can cast it from far distances. With good support we usually kill both enemies on a side lane very easily.

Thanks for this guide. I think the amplifying tomb is a great choice for first item. ;)

I've been working on improving the breadth of champions I can play for my team to compensate with how unwilling solo queuers are to talk through a tactical team. So after learning a few new DPS, Supports, Caster Carries and Tanks. I finally decided to expand into the realms of "JUNGLING" Fiddle has been truly fun as a jungler (I annoyed an enemy Warwick by getting both golem buffs and dragon before he even hit level 2!)(This only happened cause he spent too much time looking for a golem buff instead of killing other creeps) however I did find that if you piss the enemy jungler off he'll call his friends to try kill you and let you get a quadra kill solely with your ulti. This jungling guide teaches you how to jungle quickly, if you instead put masteries into Improved EXP as I did you can out level the solo lanes. The ganking potential of jungle fiddlesticks is only improved by this wonderful guide. If you haven't yet guessed thats a +1 from me =P

I started jungling with fiddle a while and I would suggest taking ghost instead of smite because first of all you wont need it to kill golem and second smite only gives away that you are jungling and third with ghost you can choose to gank on level 4 and compensate your low movement speed with ghost.
And for the masteries I would suggest getting 4 points in improved Exp instead of 3 levels in quickness and 1 point in presence of the master. (cuz u got ghost so you wont need quickness alot).
And maybe try Gaurdian Angel instead of Archangel cuz just like you say in your guide fiddle's AP scales are awfull and you need some survivabilty with your jumping in ulti. I would suggest getting it after Zhonya's or after abyssal scepter if they got more magic dmg.
Nice build though +1 ;p

Solid guide. Honestly though, the only bits of this guide I follow are the bits about jungling, and starting with tome. I find Rod of Ages a necessity for any caster who uses mana (People tend to focus me more than anything). Granted the account I got him on is only level 7? So I don't have any in-depth points for magic pen or +speed in utility.
For the first quarter of the jungle I outlevel everyone, then as soon as I need to switch sides I start to fall behind.
SIDENOTE: Jungle Fiddle is bad with a TF spamming his ult
