You don't list Rabadon's Deathcap as a core item, and your item info on DFG and Rylai's is out-dated.

To be completely honest whether you take Havoc or Butcher is a damage difference equal to the easter egg with leona and sunglasses... It really makes a very small difference. That 100 gold can be considered equal to the same amount of damage havoc will deal extra but whether you choose Havoc or Butcher makes basically no difference. They're both pretty bad masteries in my opinion but you need one of them to continue down the tree. I've taken both and noticed no change so it doesn't matter in my opinion

I have barely ever missed a last hit on <4 damage. The extra gold you will get out of it in a full game is perhaps 100 gold (3-5cs), whereas havoc also helps CS'ing through SPELLS (2% damage increase on EVERYTHING) and can make the difference between nothing and a pentakill (reset shizzle).

Now I know this is all very extreme, but the reason to take it is simply because there are no reasons why you should take others, unless you run hybrid pen masteries.

Havoc scales all game whereas Butcher is only early game and only basic attacks, where Destruction is only towers. Hence, you put the points into Havoc .

I think there are some merits to improving last hitting, though.

Like 4 damage on minions (which is about a 5% increase) is worth more than any damage on champions... Seriously, you math freaks need to look at the facts: In most 21/9/0 or 21/0/9 setups there are no better alternatives for havoc. There is no reason to pick a small damage increase on minions over a just-little-bit-smaller damage increase on champions. Plus, havoc increases damage on creeps through spells as well which is more useful overall.

K... so first off...

I put Doran's as a special item because if you are against an ad champion the reduced damage from autoattacks can be very helpful if you are getting harassed.

Removed MErcury treads and Null magic mantle from the list leaving Negatron Cloak(building into abyssal) and abyssal scepter.

I put Magic pen items there earlier and had forgotten to remove them when i redid my guide

REMOVE THAT Havoc !! - it gives you 2% more damage.. if oyu do 2000 to kill a carry thats going to be 40 bonus damage. its not worth it. instead you could go for 1 more point in Sorcery for more CDR, and 2 points in Butcher to help you lasthitting.

Things to (re)consider

• Doran's Shield as a starting option in really hard lanes. Is pretty much a safe start.
• I would not recommend boots+pots start myself, you only get 4 potions, boots are not a valuable stat in lane.
• You should not max two spells at once. You should go with Q in a hard matchup and W in a standard matchup.
• You mention Galio in your synergy list, while you do not mention Orianna cause she's supposed to go mid as well. I personally don't see galio as viable at all, but if you are to play him, it is gonna be in mid lane.
  

Things you should add

• CORE BUILD: really important. At the moment you're just telling me what items I could buy, but not what items are CORE on Katarina. I cannot judge your items properly simply because it is really unclear to me.
• Complete your matchups.

Things you should change

• Your guide has a horrible structure. Have a look at how other guide writiers structure their guides (specifically chapter order).
• Related to above: Your guide has okay-ish coding but the guide looks ugly nonetheless. I'd rather read a guide with minimal coding than yours.

I'd still add 4x sight ward and 5x Health Potion start and Doran's Shield + Health Potion start, too

You should add example early game items to the cheat sheet (exempli gratia: if against ap, if against ad, if doing somewhat well). Items like Haunting Guise and Doran's Shield are worth mentioning.

Item build order or something to the cheat sheet. For example Haunting Guise, Abyssal Mask, Deathfire Grasp or something along those lines. Two of these won't hurt it.

You max either Q or W, not both. Q if you are against an enemy who makes your farming hard and you can't really harass him/her any way and W if you are roaming a lot and you are against a champion that is either melee or not able to make your farming too much harder.

I'd make the titles between bigger. these

Make these smaller. 64 or 54 should do.

You should mention Barrier. It is worth mentioning and it's really good if you are going against Zed or someone like him.

And finish the matchups and laning.
