Is there a particular way you would play against Lux or some general tips you could give?
Thanks a bumch and great work on the guide!
Don't overcommit to E, you have to understand Q will always be the key damage. Try farming without E when possible or just absolutely last hitting, specially top, because top is the easiest lane to gank.
@ShadyGecko13 I'll try to add, I haven't had, unfortunately, experience against Jayce, and the Xin matchup was a bit outdated, he's quite doable if you do as you said (Q+W). He should be low enough that if he tries to go all in he'll die and you'll survive after a bit in lane, the only minor danger is if he charges three talon so he gets only two hits needed for the knock, but even then you can disengage.
Note: Overall I need to update the entire guide, it's a long and painful process though
You said you were taking requests for top champions, so I must say a spot on Jayce would be nice. Also, you mention Xin Zhao being a hard match up, but you never give any advice on it. So I guess I'll request him too haha. I'm assuming you would just look to Q W away every time he charges in for the Three Talon Strike, avoiding the knock up, then harass back with E.
I've recently started ranked gameplay, and hybrid Kayle has been my top choice. I am doing fairly well, but I have noticed that my early game is not as strong as I would like, both top and mid lane. I tend to try and play defensively, farming my lane, and taking my openings when they are available, but I find I am having two different problems lately. The 1st is against early, over-aggressive laners, like Xin Zhao or Riven, who try to go all in pre lvl 3 or so, and if I comply or screw up, I generally loose. The 2nd is that I over-push my lane constantly, since I am so focused on farming and minor harass on my opponent.
For the first issue, I was wondering if making a few runepage changes would work, namely going AD marks for extra oomf, and Lifesteal Quints. (I have read a few ADC guides who recommend going lifesteal to help sustain in and out of exchanges, and since hybrid Kayle is similar to a carry, I wondered if it could work).
The 2nd, as my buddy is currently pointing out, might be because I overcommit to E, putting more than 1 rank into it early game.
@ggram I am not really sure, I'm not the mathdoer of the guide D: Just activate Ghostblade before E and it can have the full melee duration.
@shldz88: Get MR and fast lifesteal, something like a vamp scepter and a hexdrinker. Be very aggressive at early levels, make him blow mana without having time to keep up with his passive.
@Yaripon: Survivability item, probably. You can go from guardian angel to frozen mallet or other stuff like banshee's veil vs situational strong cc (veigar, ashe) quicksilver sash versus stuff like mordekaiser warwick skarner leona (stunlockers)
