Welcome!

On-Hit has been Kog's best build for a while now, and it makes him extremely tanky while also doing tons of damage. If you wanna play Kog'Maw, definitely go with this build instead of the crit Navori one.

When to pick Kog'Maw?

First off, a Lulu is really good. It can be a duo or just a random person on soloQ, but your support playing Lulu makes this champ an absolute beast. You can blindpick him if you do have a Lulu.
He CAN work without Lulu but you can't blindpick him. You will get countered. Make sure the enemy doesn't have any major threats for Kog'Maw and then pick him.

Laning Phase

KogLulu is a bully lane. At level 1 you might not be able to do much, but once you and your Lulu get your W's at level 2, you can run at them and trade. Play aggressive but watch out, since you want to avoid ****ing up and losing a lead. REMEMBER that KogLulu don't even need to play agrressive early since they outscale every champion in the game (except for maybe Senna, with her infinite scaling range). You're only bullying them to make your lead even bigger.

VERSUS AGGRO CHAMPS
Farm it out. Start a freeze under turret and call for your jungler if you are having trouble keeping a freeze. Farm it out and outscale them, lane bullies fall off specially harder without a lead, so just keep even with them, give up CS if you need to, and get the farm that you're allowed to get.

Mid-Game

Time to group for Dragon and Baron fights. You and your Lulu should be able to run the enemy team through, and do it specailly harder with a frontline that they are focusing. Avoid getting flanked or engaged on, remember the enemy team's ranges and keep track of where they are on the map, and position correctly. POSITIONING IS KEY WITH KOG'MAW specially since he doesn't have any tools to defend himself if he get's CCed. Your Lulu will give you some protection, but you're not invincible. IF YOU DON'T HAVE A LULU, YOU HAVE TO POSITION A LOT SMARTER.

Late Game

This is the Kog'Maw dream. Melt everything in the map. Someone tries to get in range of you? Delete them before they even get close. Just make sure to keep your Lulu with you to ult you if an assassin jumps out of nowhere, once that happens, just kill the assassin. Right click it to win it.
IF YOU DON'T HAVE A LULU, YOU HAVE TO POSITION A LOT SMARTER.
