Shield Vault insta procks press the attack, after W you are in range for 1x AA and 1x quick Q

Tips
1) You are a oneshot machine, making no-vision-territory unsafe. Having sweeper and clearing wards is soooooo important.
2) If an objective like dragon or baron is up it's your task to win that by killing the jungler. This is a game winning tip that is often forgotten

Aegis Assault can block all damage as long as you are looking at the person doing the damage. example: karthus R wont do damage if he's in the fountain and you aim your E

4) It's hard to hit R so you should use it if you know they don't have dashes/flash or use it behind them so they can't run

Why it's better
I almost every game get flamed for not going divine/eclipse, until I get bork and absolutely obliterate everyone.
The reason this is so much better than lethality builds is simply because lethality is horrible versus tanks and becomes more useless as the game goes on. Late lethality pantheon is not a win con. Kraken on the other hand has true damage + bork damage, this is really strong early and late.
Because of this being good vs tanks pantheon can be played anywhere, this combined with his roaming potential should get you and your teammates ahead. you can be anywhere anytime and win all 1v1's (after bork).
