Summoner Spells: Ignite vs TP
Usually if you are in any elo below Masters, you should probably run
ignite. Ignite gives you the kill pressure you need to snowball and carry the game.
TP is for surviving early game and split pushing. If you are vsing a super annoying match-up like Zoe, tping back to lane at 750 gold will save your lane. Also in midgame, you can perma split and apply side pressure. The downside to TP is that you need at least 2-3 extra kills to compensate the damage lost from ignite.

You never want to go sorcery because it is a trap for new ekko players. You lose 20 minutes of early game with sorcery. Ekko needs to win early game and inspiration helps instantly.

Game Plan
Hard poke match-ups ( Zoe, Orianna, Syndra, Ryze)
You can take TP to survive the lane.
Call for early ganks to take control of lane.
Push and Roam as much as possible.
If you lose early game to these champs, the game is over.
Strong Wave Clear Champs ( Anivia, Malzahar)
Trade with them a lot so they waste abilities on you and not the wave.
Hard push the wave back to them.
You out scale most of these champs.
Strong OP No Counterplay Champs ( Yasuo, Sylas, Kassadin, Fizz)
You need to take ignite into these hard lanes and try to kill
Ask for many jg ganks
You can also hard push and roam
If you lose early game, the game is probably over because they hard 1v9

Extra Tips
Do not level your ult at lv6, keep the skill point and only level up when you need to R. This way, enemy cannot see where your ult will be.
Use your E constantly when getting back to lane to save time.
You can lv up your Q again at lv3 for the ability to 2Q the wave early.
