I would assume that the Twin Shadows is there because the AP and movement speed are both strong on Skarner. Both seem to be viable items on Skarner.

I think for skarner to be successful in the jungle you need to have 0/21/9 or some form of defensive masteries. Also why twin shadows over wits end?

The build is definitely different, I'll say that. The build is way too offensive for Skarner, and getting a Rod of Ages is just a bad idea as it takes to long to get rolling. When I tried this build myself, I got my Rod of Ages at about 20 minutes in. That means it would be fully stacked at 30 minutes in, a little bit late to be too useful. In fact, I doubt I'd have been able to finish it in a normal game, as in the game I played I was queued up with friends, some of which not even level 30(the enemy had an ap shen O_O).

While the changes to the jungle items make Skarner more viable, the build isn't quite as viable. You put Rylai's Crystal Scepter as an optional item, when Skarner currently as a permaslow and you build an Iceborn Gauntlet, which just means that you have enough slows. Honestly, I don't think this build is incredibly viable for a jungle Skarner. It's fun, and adds a new twist to Skarner, but it's just not tanky enough for Skarner.

I'd hardly call 8 votes high, but I'm sorry if I upset you. This was not my intent. I was merely pointing out that a guide that isn't showing exactly how a champ is suppose to be played isn't necessarily a troll or humor guide. I think that guides written by pros like Vynertje are great and very insightful to someone like me who is just starting ranked, but in the end a game is a game, and not everyone plays by the perfectly known rules, or META.

Firstly, he was Diamond before the elo reset. Secondly, he's right. There's absolutely no reason for this guide to have the rating it does. If it's 'not for serious League players', then it should be in the humour section, not highly rated in the section where it was intended to teach people how to play a champion correctly. The only reason it is highly rated is because the author is literally (indirectly) bribing people for votes, not because the guide is good.

Now it's at a high spot where all the noobs will come and learn how not to play a champion and think it's the best thing around.

Vynertje, first of all, I loved your Irelia guide, but as cool as i think you are, this just isn't nice. You may be platinum, but not every one is a serious League player like you. Some people just like to look at mobafire to find new and fun things to try. I love you man, but there is no reason to shut someone down so hard.

Well there is higher chance of winning the duel, but how useless you can be in teamfight with this guide is unbelieveable. Tankiness will be always requiered from you, so when you do this stuff in tf with enemy high aoe burst dmg team, you are melted in 4 seconds.

The reason your guides do well is because you do giveaways and because you ask people to upvote it for you. 90% of your guides is bad.

I'll tell you this once: You're not helping anyone. The guide might work at low-level, but you're teaching people the wrong things which will hurt them once they go ranked.

They are coming from my youtube channel/live stream. They would be fans vynertje. You don't have to like my guide. My guides aren't for players like you that know how to play the game. My guides (which I have stated many times in my past guides) are for players new to the game or skarner and want to pick up how to play him. As time goes on players like you and me learn how to build for myself. There is no all perfect build.

My other guides have done well for a reason. They impact the players I am aiming for, which would be not players like me or you. You really don't have to agree with this play style, to each their own.
