Jarvan IV
Jarvan IV is the biggest threat to this build because we don't run flash, cataclysm will end up killing you every time. If the other team takes J4 I tend not to trundle, or grab flash. With flash he goes down to to not scary at all. But 99.7% of the time you don't want flash.
How I got to platinum!

Trundle has been my main champion for a long time now. But I have put off making this guide for a few reasons. I had decided if I was going to make a guide for my main champion that I want to make it as high quality as possible. So I had to start off making other guides and learn from those experiences to make this one today.
Trundle is a melee bruiser who deals both magic and physical damage. He is well known for being an antitank. So what makes trundle good? Unlike other bruiser jungler, trundle can afford to go less tanky early and mid-game and make up for it with his ultimate. This format works well with my build for Trundle. Also his

It should be noted that this guide is for higher level playing. Mastering this build will be no easy task for multiple reasons. I don't run flash at all on Trundle, which requires a very strong knowledge of positioning and initiations. Also although his abilities are pretty straightforward, they are still very technical.

Cons
|
- Very hard to learn - Early game he can be pretty easy to kill if ganged up on. - ![]() ![]() - Learning to play without flash can be very difficult (but well worth it) - Very farm heavy early game and costly core items. - Teammates aren't always supportive of trundle cause he is rare. - Not the strongest ganker |
He is very strong but everyone has a weakness. This build requires you to be farm heavy early game, this tends to lead to not the strongest ganks. When picking trundle make sure you let your team know that you're a farm heavy jungler and they have to ask for ganks to give you the most time to get your core items. Trundle has it pretty big learning curve and it's even harder without flash. But if you can master him, he will carry you in games. |

My video will help explain some of this skills more if you don't want to read this wall of text, but both this and the video are great for learning!

- Neutral monster deaths will trigger King's Tribute, even if their killer was an enemy.
- King's Tribute does not trigger when an enemy structure is destroyed.
This is one of the reasons he is one of the best junglers in my eyes. This heal is huge and late game often if you are low on hp, one or two camps will get you enough hp to enter the fight again. Just being a bush waiting to the lane to be push to gank a team can heal you to max just by the minions dying. It's a strong passive that makes you even tankier then people think.

BONUS PHYSICAL DAMAGE: 20 / 40 / 60 / 80 / 100 (+ 0 / 5 / 10 / 15 / 20% AD)
Successfully dealing damage with Chomp grants Trundle bonus attack damage for 8 seconds, during which his target also loses attack damage equal to half of Chomp's bonus.
BONUS ATTACK DAMAGE: 20 / 25 / 30 / 35 / 40
-Chomp is an on-hit effect.
-The triggering attack will apply other on-hit effects and can critically strike as normal.
-As with most on-hit physical damage, the bonus damage from Chomp will apply life steal.
-Critical strikes will not interact with the bonus damage from Chomp.
-The bonus damage will affect structures.
-Chomp's damage will be mitigated and the buff consumed if Trundle's attack is

- Devourer double hit works with chomp
Chomp is a great move. It's why we want to build attack speed early because he already gets bonus attack damage from this skill. But with the new update Devourer new passive now makes chomp hit twice and that just makes him all that much strong. It also resets the attack timer so you want to auto attack then follow with chomp.

BONUS MOVEMENT SPEED: 20 / 25 / 30 / 35 / 40%
BONUS ATTACK SPEED: 20 / 35 / 50 / 65 / 80%

The pillar blocks movement within 62.5-range and Slow icon slows enemies within 187.5-range.
SLOW: 30 / 35 / 40 / 45 / 50%
-Pillar of Ice is a ground-targeted area of effect ability.

-Pillar of Ice grants sight within 600-range.
-Pillar of Ice cannot be placed inside impassable terrain. Attempting to do so will cause the pillar to spawn in the nearest available spot of accessible terrain, similar to Wards
-Pillar Of Ice deals 1 damage for it to trigger in-combat effects such as drawing tower aggro and cancelling the effects of out-of-combat abilities such as

-Pillar of Ice is able to interrupt both ally and enemy Recall.png Recall
-Pillar of Ice can interrupt any channel ability
-Pillar of ice can also stop abilities such as lee sins

Piller makes trundle so much strong, terrain skill are so so powerful when used right. This skill can make you a terror to face. But sadly if used wrong it can be a terror for your own team. It can block off paths and catch champions out of position. It can interrupt channeled abilities, recalls, dashes even flashes if very well timed. Can't even get player stuck. Can also be used to separate a melee champion away from an allied champion. On top of all that it gives an AoE slow. There is so many uses I couldn't dream of going over all of them.
I have to give a shout out to Cliques007. My guide is about how I play trundle and help players get use to him. But Cliques007 has an amazing pillar guide and even has a map where you can block off paths on the map. I got to give it to him for knowing pillar better then I and if you want to master trundle his guide is a powerful tool as well!
Cliques007 Pillar Guide, Check it out after this one!

「 INITIAL MAGIC DAMAGE: 10 / 13.75 / 17.5 (+ 1% per 100 AP) of target's maximum health 」
Half of the armor and magic resist are drained immediately and the other half over the next 4 seconds. The armor and magic resist modifiers slowly decay for both Trundle and his target over 4 seconds after the drain completes.
Important extra information:
-The total value of armor and magic resistance drained is determined at the point of cast and does not adjust if the target's armor or magic resistance subsequently changes. This means that Subjugate cast on a target possessing a temporary defensive buff will in actuality steal significantly more than 40% of the target's armor and magic resistance if it wears off mid-drain, or vice versa if it is applied mid-drain.
-Contrary to what happens with armor and magic resistance, temporary changes to maximum health such as

Subjugate is a hard ability to master. It also has different uses. It can be used to nuke down someone by stealing their armor and magic resist and deal damage. It can be used on tanks to help team take him down. It can be used on a tank at the start of a fight for you to take on the tank role in the fight. It can be used to deal that last bit of damage on someone just out of reach (it will act as a stronger ignite). It has a very low cooldown so it have a bit of freedom to cast it and sometimes in longer fights behind about to cast it more then once. Mastering when the best time to use this ability is and on who is key to being a great trundle player.
In team fights it is 80% of the time best to use it on the enemy tank. Also it's not always good to use right away, sometimes you want to wait till you are being forced or you are at half health. If you know you will be taking a lot of damage right away then use it as soon as possible. Looking at what items they all have before a fight will help you pick who is the best target or 2nd best target for

When dueling, only use it after taking some damage and use it only when standing on

It is very notable I end to only change my last item in this build which is
