Any sort of penetration works with Ahri; she is the receiver since she is female, and runes don't work the way you think they would. Runes work with the user, thus Ahri benefits from penetration and not armor. You want the experience to be as painless as possible.

Armor yellows are in case a mugger tries to have his way with you.

AP Blues are so you can kill people.

AP Quints for the same reason as AP Blues.

Standard 21/9/0 for the ultimate League experience.

Start with anything you want, then refund and get boots+4 pots.

Boots because it's almost winter and pretty sexy, and pot in case the man is not hot enough.

Ignite to come into heat.

It is Ahri's job to feed and troll on the Rift, as such stated by multiple doujinshi on the official League of Legends website. This theory is also proven through google.com and wikipedia.com.

Insta-lock Ahri as much as you can; if you are playing Ahri you cannot be reported for doing your job.

Pros: Sexy, easy to play, ultimate troll.

Cons: Will make you question your sexuality.

Do not waste your time on creeps; your job is to seduce passerby and collect soul essence. Minions are small and therefore a waste of time. Only Bronze V players waste their time on creeps.

If you have a hard time finding seducees in lanes, try the jungler. There are other beasts in the jungle for you to seduce if prey is scarce.
