Still stands, i barely have any time to write this but i do plan to update this from time to time. This time there werent many changes but still deserves an update.

Im gonna update this as i climb with shyv top, so far ive reached top 50 shyv eune, epic. I will write stuff down as i learn this strat and as i learn how to write a guide lol. 27/10/2021: holy **** conq feels kinda bad, still my fave keystone on shyv but it feels kinda bad. Pta is probably better as of now. Also experimenting with triforce/sunderer i change my favorite on a daily basis as of rn I think sunderer is better but triforce is more fun. I should also add that this chapter is kind of a diary, I take some thought and write them here. Ofc all about shyv :D
Well I inted a bit in preseason and im back to gold 1 but it doesnt matter to me anymore.

Well personally I've started playing her top due to my hate of jungle. I've been a jungler for a long time of my life and it feels really good to step away from it. I was bored of getting flamed for everything, for bot to lose 2 v 2 and flame me for not being there at lvl 4 etc etc. So i decided to try her top and I've had the best time of my league career even peaking in rank. Shyvana top isnt for everyone and thats ok, everyone has their own way of enjoying the champ but if you feel like you need a little break from jungle trying her top isnt the worst idea, you could discover something you actually like!

Ok well all i wrote here is kinda outdate. Still kinda stands but lethal is just way too good. I will delete the outdate stuff later. I don't know how well I can explain this but I'll give it a shot. Basically if you think you will only go for short trades or quick burst: PTA, if you think you need to take extended fights: Conq. If you feel like you will be perma ganked or you need to escape bad situations: Phase, If you are going vs a ranged champ: Aery, If you are going to need to be tanky but conq doesnt fit: Grasp, If you need lane survivability: Fleet, If you wanna really int: HoB. I think that does a good enough job at explaining how to choose your runes. Every rune ive mentioned is at least semi viable, experiment and find the one that suits you the most ^^

Well building shyvana is something magical in itself. Basically every bruiser/tank/mage item can work decently on her. In the items section of the guide I listed my favorite builds and items. Theres a lot of them and there are more builds to discover. The Bork Triforce build is good for ppl that are new but if you need a simpler build go the bork frostfire build. What you chose to build is situational depending on the game. If you need to be tanky: frostfire, if you need to burst tanks and bruiser: sunderer, if you need to split: Triforce (or if you like the item, its really fun), If you need ap: Riftmaker, If you wanna cosplay vayne: kraken. All items are basically situational so chose your items based on the enemy ^^

lvl 1 get e and just try to cs from a distance, if u can hit all 3 melee creeps u should be fine. Don't try to fight until lvl 3, ofc is the enemy tries to go for a short trade just e aa them for a tiny amount of damage. At lvl 3 you should be fine as long as u go for short trades. You can 100% kill someone lvl 3 if they disrespect your damage and keep fighting, especially if u run ignite. Remember: NEVER try to go for trades/fight if u missed your e, your e is basically all your dps. E W aa Q is the main trade combo, this does around 70% of your enemys hp post recurve bow with pta. At lvl 6 u gain a massive spike in power and u can go for a solo kill if the enemy is miss positioned or if they try to fight you. Use your ult dodge cc, dodge ganks, reposition or dive. Post 6 always look for TP plays bot or mid. Help your jungler at scuttle, go for plates if u manage to solo kill or just invade to deny the enemy jungler resources.

Just go sidelane or group with your team, depends on how far ahead you are. If you are far ahead just try to roam and get your team ahead, if you are behind just sidelane, gain exp and use tp to influence the map. OBJECTIVES ARE REALLY IMPORTANT FOR YOU ALWAYS TRY TO HELP YOUR TEAM GET THEM. So to recap: your midgame goal is to either get your team ahead or to help your team get objectives and split.

Contrary to popular beliefs AD shyv kinda sucks late. Shes really good mid game but becomes pretty sucky once everyone has items. Of course that doesnt make you useless, you just need to think a lot more before engaging. Your main goal would be to either dive the backline or to soak as much damage for your carry as possible. So your priorities are 1. Kill the backline or 2. peel your carry. Now depending on the game you can have a really good lategame and once the enemy adc has been eliminated you are free to completely destroy the enemy.
