Intro
Hi, welcome to my Katarina guide. Will keep this guide short, sweet and insightful.
With tons of experience in assassinating enemies as Katarina you can walk away from this guide knowing you will climb out of elo hell (Iron/Bronze/Silver).

Laning phase: Lvl 1 - 6
As Katarina you want to play safe but still accelerate your gold income to obtain Hextech Gunblade as quickly as possible.
Your core focus until then should be to CS as efficiently as possible in the early stages of the game.
Your aim should be to hit lvl 3 before your opponent. Upon hitting lvl 3 you will want to engage with ur opponent in the following manner:
E onto your opponent -> W to drop your dagger -> Q your opponent -> E to your dagger. Move back towards your turret. Let wave push towards you. If you have done this successfully, you may be able to kill off your opponent with another successful combo. In your next combo make sure to set off your ignite.
If you are still trading with your opponent until lvl 6 you would apply the same concept but engage an all in with your ult. It is recommended to back to base once you can afford to get a Hextech revolver especially if your wave is shoved into enemy turret.

Post lvl 6 and working towards Hextech Gunblade
In this part of the game, you want to CS efficiently as possible, push your wave quickly, look for the occasional roam and assist your jungler whenever possible. It is recommended that you buy a Control Ward on your first back as to assist with vision in jungle.
Please remember to play safe at this stage of the game as your power spike only really kicks in with your Hextech Gunblade.

Hextech Gunblade explained
Now that you have your Hexctech Gunblade, it is important that you activate it upon engaging on your opponent.
An all-in combo will most like have the potential to eliminate your opponent.
It will look something like this:
E -> activate gunblade -> W -> Q-> E-> R. Remember to ignite him to finish the combo. You will still have the option to flash or E for more outplay potential.
