Introduction
Welcome to my Bruiser Sylas build guide! I play Sylas exclusively top lane but if I explore the other roles with him then I'll update this guide.
Most people build Sylas full AP but I believe his true potentiall comes out as an AP Bruiser. His kit supports prolonged fights and so you want the tank to survive them, added with your W heal you can be very annoying and still deal damage if you play it right.

Pros and Cons

PROS
+ Very versitile + Good late game + The ability to steal ultimates + Amzazing wave clear + Good sustain The main gimic with Sylas is his ability to steal ultimates. So depending on the enemy team, you can have VERY strong ultimates on him that compliment his kit perfectly. He can get a lot of damage out if you space his abilities with his auto enhanced passive while remaining tanky due to the build and his keystone. His wave clear is not really effected by this build, after your first item you can still clear the caster minions with a Q and enhanced auto. |
CONS
- Potentially bad ultimate - Can be squishy (Less so with the bruiser build) - Abiltiies mana heavy early Some of Sylas' cons are dampened with the Bruiser build such as being squishy however, there's still drawbacks that you should know. You'll still be more squishy than most bruisers top lane but your sustain should help balance that back up. However, the enemy team's comp could have ultimates that are potentially very bad and useless on you. Such as Yasou's ult. |
