Intro

Hello and welcome to my guide, hope you have a nice read and come away with some useful knowledge that allow you to hopefully climb elo, or simply have fun with my favorite champion, Talon.
My name is Michael, I run cross country and track, and enjoy playing league when I have the chance. My tag on league is KissKat, and favorite champions are Talon and Syndra.
Last year I achieved the rank of Gold about one month before the season ended. Since then, lots of practice in normals with friends in mostly the mid lane has taught me a lot about the game. Experience laning against Diamond and Platinum ranked people has shown me that I am not perfect, but have confidence in my mid lane ability.
With this build, you should have about 500 AD at the end of the game with armor pen from Yomous and the new last whisper

Doesnt really matter, just dont take gold income masteries unless youre jewish

Really up to you, sometimes taking the extra 5% CDR could be useful.

Items

I like starting with a tiamat to help farm and clear waves quickly so I can roam bot or get wards in the other jungle. I think Essence Reaver works well with this build for the mana and it works well with Infinity Edge. New Yomous is a good item to go into mid game as well for the active (very low CD now) and all of the stats.

Skill sequence

W is your most important ability for farming and harassing in lane, and should be maxed first almost every game. You could take an early point in Q for last hitting and as an auto-attack reset for trading. Cutthroat is maxed last.

Ranked play

If you have the chance, dont play Talon into hard counters (Diana, Swain, Cho Gath etc.) or if your team only has AD champions unless you are a cocky dude that is sure he can carry 10-0 and take mid inhib at 15 minutes :). I would recommend picking up some braindead no fun mid laner just in case (Vlad, Lux, Malzahar, Ziggs, Lulu) in the case that your team needs ap or you are against a counter so you can still be relevant, and not 0-6 with no cs.

Pros and Cons

Pros
Youre some badass assassin, probably the manliest champ in the game
Sick lore
100-0 people
Probably the best position Talon is in since his silence got removed
Easy to CS
Snowballs hard
Not mechanically hard, Yomous E-AA-Q-W-R (Hydra if you have it) will kill most people mid-late game
Cons
If you get behind youre pretty useless without kills or cs
Not ranged

Team work

Roam often especially at lvl 6 and beyond. Take mid tower and help bot take their tower, this way you can get a gold lead for your team. It is very hard to live through team fights as Talon. If you go down, take people with you.
Dont be a **** to your teammates, just mute them and be nice.

Farming

in most occasions you should have at least 60 cs at 10 minutes. this is with ganks, roaming, and recalling. Later in the game, a simple rake and hydra will kill a wave, and you should use this to your advantage by splitting top or bot and killing most anyone who comes in your way.
