Champion Build Guide
Brief Description
Hi, once again. This is a short guide based on my small experience with Galio in the Botlane as a support. I really love playing with him, and his high crowd control combo is sure to give most fights an 180° turn. To me, Galio has no means of disengaging without threatening his own life, but that's not how a true support should play. To me, a tank support should prioritize their teammate's lives, bodyshielding them from any danger while providing utility to win the combat, and Galio fits just right on that point of view. He's probably the second best support i've ever played, following right behind Lulu. I think also that the support class is probably the most fun one to play in the game, needing interaction between teammates and important teamwork.
You can go ahead and say this build is a bad one, or my playstyle with the character is unusual, but i think this is one of the most fun things to do in LoL; breaking the meta, playing forgotten characters and/or with wacky-*** builds, etc. I mean, i remember the first item i bought for Soraka was a Frostfire Gauntlet, simply because its passive provided the most health per Legendary item. When i first played Galio, i had no game sense and knowledge to assist me. It was all so confusing and weird, as the character seemed 'damageless' and useless by himself. It is only recently that i came back to him and actually spend time learning his skills and develop a fun playstyle to have with him. I hope that with this guide i can show people more off-meta and forgotten characters that are surprisingly fun in the Botlane.
