Welcome to the world of Tank Yasuo.
My name is Gasuo. As you guessed, a yasuo 1 trick (~2m). Since he was released. He's always been more or less strong into every update but I decided to release this build I just started working with a couple days ago because I think it has some great potential. Current Rank GOLD2
Rune Choice
So to start, i've always been a fan of yasuo with
Grasp of the Undying because it works well around my play style. Yasuo is SUPER slippery with just boots and a zeal. If you can master the q range and the in and out playstyle as I like to call it, you'll be golden. You get great trades with grasp as long as you back up after and regen. Farm up and keep pressure on them early. You should win most trades.
You need to take advantage and use grasp every time its up and you're in a position to lose minimal health to proc. Once you have
Heartsteel , these same trades start to stack Heartsteel's passive now granting you permanent health.
This item is amazing. I've finished games with 600+ stacks easily granting 1400 health in total as an item. Thats why this build is so nasty. Runes and this item alone grant almost 2k health.

First 10-15 Min
First 15 minutes of the game are crucial everyone knows that. Your main objective with this build is to pressure the lane as MUCH as you can. Keep vision wards in the river and try to full back for berserkers off the first back. Pressure lane and get those tower plates with demolish. Grasp is insane for early trades with yasuo. As long as you keep your distance, those Q's and autos will sting when they proc the grasp damage. I usually back off after grasp proc and repeat. Yasuo is super slippery and can turn fights pretty easily kiting between dashes and keeping distance. Play the safe game early and you'll snowball into your next item.
After you finish the berserkers, I usually follow up with phage into zeal or just finish Hullbreaker from there.
Hullbreaker gives you an insane lane lead early. 400 Health and 50 ad goes a long way for yasuo early. Makes him very versatile in fights early with how beefy he is. The second I finish this item, i'm looking for opportunities to take down the first tower the second I can prioritizing gold to start other items. If you have the lane pressure and are now starting to get tanky, take the first tower down as quickly as possible to apply pressure on other lanes.

Mid Game / End Game
After
Hullbreaker , I follow up with a Zeal into
Heartsteel or straight into
Heartsteel to finish the
Mortal Reminder after.
Heartsteel is the main core item so you want to build this as fast as possible after
Hullbreaker . Heartsteel's passive basically keeps you scaling with any of their tanks, so you're free to build any situational damage items into opps. The item alone gives you 800 health and i've been finishing games with over 400 stacks easily by 20-30 min.
By now you can gauge how tanky / how your damage output is and can engage fights yourself because you can survive the damage.
After
Mortal Reminder , I look at their team comp and figure what to get next.
Into squishy comp's I start building and
Infinity Edge , or
Blade of the Ruined King if I need the sustain. The last couple of items are situational.
After
Berserkers
Hullbreaker
Heartsteel
Mortal Reminder
Your last 2 items are situational
Steraks
Blade of Ruined King
Infinity Edge
Randuins

Summary
This build and playstyle are unique. Take advantage of Yasuo's in and out maneuvers to get the most out of the grasp+hearsteel trades and you'll be unkillable mid-late game. Apply pressure, you get the most out of this build by prioritizing objectives and towers to ensure gold and that you participate in most of the kills. You're not going to get insane dps off with the build but you survive longer and get more damage off in fights by being able to survive longer. I made Mortal Reminder a core item and IE situational becuase I feel this build needs the attack and movement speed buff whearas if you still wanted to go more damage you are free to go IE after.
You are finishing games with 5k+ health and 100% crit. The trade off for damage and tank work really well for these longer teamfights.
I love this build because you can walk up to anyone with it. Yasuo is weak to crowd control but if you can get past the initial damage being tanky, you can turn fights pretty easily. This build is insane. If you have mastered yasuo, you know how quick you can get damage in and back off, so I try to play around that before going all in to secure the kill. Play around with it and let me know what you think!
