No, Ruined King is currently the best first item to buy on Shyvana because of how well it synergizes with her.

Phage isn't even 100% necessary.

hmmm...maybe it would be good to put a Phage before that Blade of the Ruined King?

Check out my Shyvana guide, its an unfinished guide from season 2 but i remade the guide entirely because I got lazy and didn't want to start another from scratch. I'm making updates by the minute so watch for it.

There are better choices for jungle, yes indeed but shes very fun to play and can beat up most top jungling picks atm like Hecarim or Nasus easily with her damn strong early game damage.

Counter-jungling is pretty risky at low levels though...since if im pressuring jungle a lot i can expect enemy laners to come help while your own team wont.

I don't really play Shyv. Maybe once in the past few months, but that was Solo Top before BotRK was hot fixed. That being said, I'm still kind of iffy on the items, since they're just generic anti-carry bruiser/jungle tank items.

I've been looking for reasons to play her TBH, but I end up not doing so because I forget, I want to win (there are better choices for jungling), or because the random button doesn't let me.

I guess I'll pick her up after the new skin comes out, or maybe the next few days if I remember.

I have been recently updating my guide and just noticed yours, you give really good info and your guide looks really pretty for the eye.

I have only 1 question, how often do you play Shyvana at your level?

Very very nice build, the guide is informative and good as well.

But what I love most about the build is how it covers Shyvana's biggest weakness: Being kited. With BotRK and Randuins you will always get where you need to be and no one can stop you.. And the tanky side effects of the items you build are just a cherry on top. You don't die when you run through the whole team to slaughter their carry and cut off exits.
