Introduction
This is my first guide on MOBAFIRE. I'll try to update it regularly. Please feel free to comment and let me know what I can do better. Upvote if you like it, downvote if you don't, but please give me some constructive criticism if you downvote.
For summoner spells, I go with Barrier and Flash. Heimer doesn't have any built in escape skills so if you want a good chance of surviving an unexpected gank, take these. You could go with Flash and Ignite to secure those early kills and keep Mundo from staying in lane til level 18 if you want, but it's just what I prefer.
I think maxing your H-28G Turrets first helps keep your lane in check. Although Micro-Rockets do a lot of burst damage, having 3 turrets laid out in a lane is more than enough to keep minions and the opposing champion at bay. You'll be surprised at just how much damage these babies put out! Don't worry though. By mid-game, your rockets will do plenty of damage, and at level 18...you'll be destroying EVERYTHING with nicely aimed shot.
Now for your ultimate, UPGRADE!!! This ability makes the next basic ability free to cast and grants bonus effects to it. It has many different uses and I'll cover each of them.
When you UPGRADE!!! H-28G Turrets, something amazing happens! You get to place a super turret which does more damage, has splash damage, slows enemies hit, has more health, (and the kicker) DOESN'T count towards the turret limit! That means you can have 4 turrets placed at one time!! Tell me that isn't awesome! The super turret is also red...which adds to the awesome factor. Let a jungler try and gank you while you stand in the middle of 4 turrets. Pop barrier and watch him die in a flurry of lazer beams.
When you UPGRADE!!! your Micro-Rockets instead of firing out one wave of 5 rockets, you fire FOUR waves of pure death...which equals 20 rockets. These also do increased damage. This is a great option to use when there are several enemy champions near you with low health. You can easily pick up a triple kill in a situation like this. It's also hilarious to stun a champion with your Grendade, UPGRADE!!!, and watch 20 rockets slam into his/her face. More than likely, you'll get a kill, but if you don't, they'll be headed back to base to heal for sure!
Let's not forget the UPGRADE!!! for Storm Grenades! Instead of your little ball of terror targeting one or maybe two champions, you can blast a whole team. This skill is great to use right after the tank has initiated a teamfight. Your Storm Grenade will have a larger effect radius and will now bounce 3 times! That's 3 chances to stun the enemy team in one toss! Nice right!! Don't forget the blind either! If the enemy team has heavy AD champs...throw this bad boy down and watch them slash at thin air. If you want to watch your team wreak havoc, UPGRADE!!! your Storm Grenade, toss it in the fray, lay a turret, FIRE THE MISSILES, lay a turret (again) and watch the kills stack up.
