This guy and Renekton are just huge pieces of doo doo. when slowed try to cc the sh*t off of him and trust me, out trading this guy is the last thing you'll do, let alone escaping him.

Champion Build Guide
This entire build is based off of not only AP, but (a new addition to the Malphite build scene, i think?) Armour as well (well at least these 2 stats together). This is build balances between Armour and AP, obviously more to AP side. This is because the AP scaling of his abilities are better than Armour, as well as Armour scaling being limited to two abilities who's scaling, as aforementioned, is less than their AP counterpart.
AP Malphite is nothing new, it's an actual option now, but, Armour isn't seen much (i at least haven't seen much). I chose to add Armor into the mix as when i first got into Malphite all i heard was about how he was only good for his ult (not gonna lie they're not far off) and that after he ults he just does spams all his other abilities and either stays to soak up damage or Zhonya's (3rd option is just being a **** and ulting someone when they are low to try to KS) all of these (except for being a ****) will result in you eventually dying if your team doesn't pull through.
This sense of dependence and the lack of independence, along with a lack of aid after you ult drove me to create this build. All this Armour and AP is catered towards, mainly your E and W (obviously your ult as well). This will create a scenario where you can ult, and then you E, in normal cases it wouldn't do much but usually from my experiences it will do around 75-80% of your ult's damage. In addition to this your W also benefits off of this build and will be more powerful than a normal build, people often forget this but your W creates a very small AOE but AOE none the less, your GA will give additional AD and act as insurance for your lackluster than usual HP. Use your Q instantly as to do additional damage but as well as to instantly start its cool down as your cheese wheel will be necessary to finish people, when you first use your Q in your engage hit the supports/ADC or the squishy's as they are most likely the ones who will run away and also they are squishy which is what your team is going to priorities ans your Q will slow them so yay :3.
This build also focuses on Malphites CC harder than other builds, in the laning phase it is important when you are running away form someone or when you are trading against them, utilize your Q to slow them, but keep in mind it also speeds you up, and also use your E to slow down their attack speed.
