-Full scaling CDR runes are a bit awkward. Think about maybe 6 flat CDR and 3 scaling CDR or MR. Helps out your early game a bit with 5% out of the gate and less is wasted late game depending on your build. Good to note is that Maw is still an awesome item on Lee although it now offers 10% CDR instead of APene so CDR is not as hard to find anymore.
-Probably not possible to show in the guide but if you get a kill during a gank in your first clear, buy a tiamat before your jungle item. For the next 5-10 minutes you are unbeaten in 1v1s and clear camps easily. This is especially important this patch with the changes to raptors and krugs.
-The boot choices in this guide are not great IMO. Ionian boots are almost always going to be CDR overkill. Mobility boots should probably be your go to with ninja/mercurial/swifties being situational. Ninja for AA heavy comps, Mercurial for CC heavy comps, Swifties for Slow heavy comps.
-If you are wanting to build a sightstone, you should be taking red smite. Lee sin has no problem sticking to enemies and red smite has synergy with your passive.
-If you do not get ahead in the early game and sitting on Warriors & tiamat, you should be thinking to go locket/dead man's/hexdrinker. At this point I think maxing W after Q is correct.
-For masteries, i love the 12-18-0 if you plan to go thunderlord's (which you should be). Sorcery-Feast-Vampirism-DES. Vampirism is absolutely incredible for maintaining high health as you clear. Also in the middle tree, look at taking Assassin and Precision. Precision is also amazing on Lee as your E damage is magic so you benefit a lot from hybrid pene.
-For teamfighting, it is important to note that trying to hard engage the enemies carry is not always a good route. If their team has hard cc, you die before you can do anything. If their teams carry is slippery, they could turn your good engage into a free kill on you. Sometimes the best route is to use your R as a peel for your carry or look to kick a front line tank into the backline carries as your R deals bonus damage to everyone knocked up based on a percentage of the kicked champions bonus HP.
All in all, I really like the guide. I'm a high elo jungler that was looking around this site to see if anyone had any new ideas for preseason. Learned a bit and thought I would give a little back.
I wish you all well aimed kick-flash plays.
And thank you for reminding me about the heavy cc comps. I completely forgot about that. The cc on the enemy team is IMO one of the most important things to be aware of when playing lee sin.
-I don't agree with precision on lee sin though. IMO it is important for lee to have as much cdr as possible.
-I have noticed that if I use the jungle route which I added to the guide, you end up with almost full hp, ready to gank. Your W shield and life steal gives so much sustain, so I think that vampirism is unnecessary on Lee and doesn't affect his clear.
-My coice of boots in the guide isn't the best, my apologies.
-Now that I think about it, going red smite instead of blue smite when building sightstone is actually better. Especially if you are chasing someone in your own jungle. (Not in enemy jungle unless you have vision, because all of their camp's may not be up for you to use your q to catch up) Thank you for telling me this.
-I agree with the runes, I picked scaling cdr on the guide because I use scaling cdr runes myself. I just haven't gotten to the point where I buy flat cdr runes. Thank you for the reminder.
I guess both of us learned a bit, thank you for your feedback.
Do you think that I can use your paragraph for teamfighting in my guide? You explained it in a way I can't. I will leave a note beneath the paragraph which says that the paragraph was written by you of course.
