Hello everyone and welcome to my Zed build. I'm here to show you a build that will get you fed!
But first, lets get an idea of what kind of champion Zed is. Play Video
Zed's ult has changed since this champion spotlight was released, check out the Skill Sequence for details. Also the build in the video is pretty bad because his ult has changed a little.

I like to use the Marks of Armor Penetration, because Zed is a champion that should 1v1 anyone. Thats why I take these along with a to destroy super tanks as well.

The Armor Seals are here just to make sure I have a little more sustain in a 1v1 fight.

The Glyphs of Scaling Magic Resist have the same purpose as the Armor seals, but the reason I take Scaling Magic Resist, is because mages are squishy and should be dead before they can do anything.

The Quintessences of Attack Damage are just to do yet even more damage.

For my masteries, I just use a standard assassin page. You can view my materies at the top of the page.

I like to start with aand 3 for a nice poke at the beginning.
Then I buy a and a . These items give you some nice damage, and the Active from the Bilgewater Cutlass will make your ult a lot stronger.
From there I buy a , which is your core item, and an . The Blade of the Ruined King is definetly your best item, since it steals movement speed and it will deals 15 percent of the target's health in magic damage when activated. It also deals a percentage of the targets health with AA (autoattacks) passively.
I then proceed with the, and the . The active on Youmuu's Ghostblade combined with the BotRK will make sure you escape, or that the enemy doesn't escape.
Finally you get the for more armor penetration, and you have your core items.
From here you can choose what items you get. You can get for a lot of extra attack damage and lifesteal. for some health, armor pen, and cooldown reduction. Or you can get the for some more defence.

Zed passivedeals bonus damage (6-10% of their max. health) when the target's health is under 50%. This effect can be done on the same target every 10 seconds.

Take your (Q) at lvl 1 to poke your enemies and farm from a distance. This attack deals 75/115/155/195/235 (+100% bonus Attack Damage) physical damage to the first enemy it hits and 45/69/93/117/141 (+60% bonus Attack Damage) to each additional enemy. If an enemy gets hit by both Zed's and his Shadow's Razor Shuriken, the 2nd shuriken will do 50% less damage. The cooldown is always 6 seconds, and it costs 75/70/65/60/55 energy. Try to max this as soon as possible.

Take your (W) at lvl 2 to be more mobile and deal more damage. Zed sends out his Shadow to a target location, which will copy Zed's basic abilities. Zed may reactivate his W once to swap locations with his shadow, as long as you're not too far away. Zed will also recieve 5/10/15/20/25% bonus attack damage passively. The cooldown will be 18/17/16/15/14 seconds, and it costs 40/35/30/25/20 energy. Max this last.

Then take your (E) at lvl 3 to deal 60/90/120/150/180 (+80% bonus attack damage) physical damage. When you hit an enemy champion with Shadow Slash, the cooldown on your Living Shadow is reduced by 2 seconds. If your shadow hits an enemy with Shadow Slash, the enemy will get slowed by 20/25/30/35/40% for 1.5 seconds. The slow will increase to 30/37.5/45/52.5/60% if both Zed and his Shadow hit the target. The cooldown will always be 4 seconds, and it will always cost 50 energy. Max this 2nd.

Zed's ult is made so Zed can 1v1 anyone. The moment Zed picks a target, he leaves a Shadow at the place he's standing on which will last for 6 seconds. Zed then becomes invisible for a short duration and reappears at his target, dealing damage and applying Death Mark. Zed then has 3 seconds to deal as much damage as possible, before the Death Mark explodes. When the Death Mark explodes, the target will take 100% of Zed's attack damage plus 20/35/50% of all damage dealt to the target by Zed and his Shadows. Because Zed leaves a shadow behind right when he uses his ult, he can easily dive or do something else that would normally cause death, since this Shadow will last will last 1.5 times as long as his normal Shadow, and it can be reactivated from any range.

For a big damage combo I use --->--->--->--->
If your target is a super tank, you should totally use during , and to continue chase the enemy.
