Introduction

LOW COST JUNGLE IS BETTER!!Jungling is definitely A LOT harder. You have to have a very good early game to be successful. Get through your jungle as quick as possible, then gank either top or mid, depending on which one is the LEAST fed. You can deal with the other more fed one later. You have to pick up kills. Assists are fine and dandy when it comes to teamwork, but if you want to do well, you have to get kills. Once you get good jungling with him however, you will obviously be better. Just keep trying, and it will be all good.
Pros
Cons
-
If you play him right, You can burn right through enemies
Easy to farm with
Has a very good getaway system
Can play rock, paper, scissors with himself
Can dance with himself
Ganks very well
Has a nice amount of crowd control
Cons
-
runs out of energy pretty quickly
does not have the nicest cooldown times
at sometimes, pretty slow
not great at 1v1 ing someone that has a ridiculously more amount of health than you
gets focused a lot
Runes are pretty simple. Go attack damage. It really does not matter what you get, as long as it is attack damage. I might like it better if I had all flat-rate Attack damage runes, for example +0.28 attack damage, rather than having a mix of flat-rate and by-level runes, for example +0.06 attack damage per level (1.08 at level 18). It's really up to you though, build your runes as you want.
Masteries are pretty simple too. This is up to the player also. I like having a lot of armor and health, that is why I took more points in durability and hardiness than in resistance, magic resistance. I could type all the Attack choices reasons out, but I'm not going to. I will just say this. Masteries are up to you too.
ITEMS ARE VERY IMPORTANT. This part is not up to you. Okay, you can do whatever you want. But this way is a very good way to buy. Take
Boots and 3
Health Potion. You really need boots because you are outrageously slow if you don't. Once you get first blood with your teammate, go back and get your
Doran's Blade. Health, Attack Damage, Life Steal. Perfect. Then, upgrade your boots. I like to take
Berserker's Greaves for the attack speed, but you can also take
Mobility Boots if you want more movement speed. Now, it is time to build up for all your expensive items. Kind of like a build up to a dubstep or electro house song, if you don't have a good build up, then you/it's going to be a ****ty time. take
The Brutalizer first for your
Youmuu's Ghostblade. Then get your
Vampiric Scepter for 2 reasons: You need a sufficient amount of life steal at this point of the game, and for your
Bloodthirster. Then get your B.F. Sword. BUT WAIT! DO NOT USE IT ON YOUR
Bloodthirster! Now you get
Infinity Edge! So much Damage! WOO! Then, go ahead and pick-up a
Giant's Belt for later. NOW you get your
Bloodthirster. Yummy! Now take your
Giant's Belt and put it into a
Warmog's Armor. You NEED this because you will not be able to survive your assassination's, and even team fights for that matter. Then pick up your
Youmuu's Ghostblade and lastly get a
Phantom Dancer. I know, it is a pretty expenive build. BUT, it is what you need to be a successful
Zed.

The skill sequence is really up to you too. BUT, please take your
Razor Shuriken first,
Shadow Slash second, and
Living Shadow third. If you don't, you will not be able to gank or go in for the kill successfully. If you get
Living Shadow second, even though it teleports you to your shadow, you now have absolutely no crowd control. So, harass them with your
Razor Shuriken to get them low, until you are level 3. Then, you go in, and slice their brains out! Lead in with your
Living Shadow, use your
Shadow Slash, pop your
Razor Shuriken, hopefully hitting your target with both, Then press
Living Shadow again to move to your shadow, and attack him until your cooldown's are over.

Man, this is such a good build right? Especially since I keep saying you can take whatever you want. Well, for this you can take whatever you want. I like
Flash to give me insurance that I will escape, even if you are clutch with your
Living Shadow. **** can still happen. Cool down on both your
Living Shadow and your
Flash are abnormally long. Ensure your escape. I also take
Ignite to make sure I can get that kill. If you look at the picture above, you will see how I feel when I
Ignite someone ;). You can also take
Exhaust,
Heal,
Teleport, and
Ghost if you want, it's up to your play style.

Team work is very important to
Zed. This could be the life or death of you at sometimes. Always let someone else lead in in a team fight. Make sure there are at least 2-3 people in there before you go in. Lead in with your
Living Shadow, use your
Shadow Slash For that wonderful slow,
Razor Shuriken, then pop in using your
Living Shadow again. Then, from there, spam your
Shadow Slash and
Razor Shuriken and really make their days. It is very easy to get a penta kill with
Zed if you use this technique just right. NEVER LEAD IN ON A TEAM FIGHT!! Remember you are an assassin. You clean up. You don't take the damage. Otherwise, you will die. And that is a real ****ty time.

Don't be afraid to use your spells for your farm. After all, you do use energy. Lead in on a big group of minions with your
Razor Shuriken and then clean up with your passive and
Shadow Slash. You'll be through with a wave in a matter of seconds.

So, in summary,
Zed is a kick-*** and bad-*** champion. He has a stealthy attribute to him without being officially being part of the stealth class. He is very fun to play IF you play him right. If you don't start off well with him, don't give up! Practice until he is under your submission! Have Fun!

If it wouldn't trouble you too much, check out my mixes on youtube! I am a 14 year old DJ trying to get into the EDM business. I DJ at the moment, but I'm starting production too. Please just go and check me out and give me some feedback! Thanks!
