The think about countering is it's really based on skill. Yes, Orianna would destroy Katarina, but that's only if the Katarina has no idea what she's doing for the most part. It all depends on skill and experience. Getting to the point, in the case of Soraka, it's more important that you synergize with YOUR OWN TEAM. [b]Mana-hungry champions[/b] would also enjoy Soraka like [[Anivia]], whose [[Glacial Storm]] can easily be powered by Soraka She can also use her heals to keep Anivia alive during [[Rebirth]]. Champions like [[Fizz]] or [[Katarina]] [b]can also capitalize on the long, instant silence of [[Infuse]][/b], bursting targets down easily. Soraka's E can also prevent people from interrupting [[Death Lotus]].[/size] [/columns] [columns][nextcol] [size=2]For Junglers, the types that Soraka synergizes well are pretty much the same as for Solo Mid. Also, it's never a good thing to have an entire team leaning toward only either AP or AD, so it should be balanced. Another mention is [[Akali]], who can burst someone silenced. Just give people a general "When you would wanna pick her" ; an example team that fits her well. Focus more on how well she synergizes with marksman champions, and is countered by them, or other supports. 1 half of most your games are likely spent in bot lane were only these synergies or counters will matter to your readers. :3 Hope this helps! It's been grinding my gears that people are now finding [[Annie]] a better support over Soraka, and since Riot says they have 'plans' (hopefully good plans) for Soraka, that perhaps she will be more viable in the current meta. I thought it was too long because when I compared it to other Counters and Synergy setions, it seemed unnecessarily detailed, (like your Tresh and Taric guide, Astrolia's old support guides, Jhoijoi's Ashe guide...) but I find Soraka to be less oriented to her ability in the laning phase (which she kind of sucks at, no point denying), but to the whole team.
