Best junglers are tanky DPS or Tanky mages.
Cho'Gath is an excellent choice.
Trundle and Olaf are ideal with their CC reduction and jungle speeds.
Amumu's great in team fights and ganks, but I don't know how well he'd do in counterjungling.

These^ among pure tanks. Offtanks are another story.

Chogath, Nunu and Amumu are the best 3 junglers that are tanks at this moment in time.
As far as jungling is concerned -
Nunu (watch out though, nerfs nex patch!) > Cho > Amumu, imo. Nunu is THE best jungler in the game at this moment in time though, there's no doubt about that.
If you're looking for the best tank that can jungle, you'll need to sacrifice some of your jungle dominance!
There's a reason the wins/losses in dreamhack qualifiers were 10/1 with Nunu. 10 wins, 1 loss. Yup.

I really like jungle rammus because he has great ganks, however he is counterjungled kind've easy if they ward his buffs, so you have to be careful.

Thanks to GrandMasterD for my sig!
Pure tanks:
Amumu is a good jungler because while he doesn't excel in the jungle at any one aspect, he's so absolutely fantastic at being a late game tank that he's worth it. He's fine at controlling the jungle and he can do some counter-jungling too, just not against powerful junglers like nunu.
Nunu is THE god of jungling. His ganks are phenomenal especially past level 6, he controls his jungle well, he jungles fast, he moves fast, he ganks right out of the jungle, he counter jungles. He does everything, and he does everything well. Basically the best jungler no matter what. However, he turns into somewhat of a CC bot late game and needs to stack ridiculous amounts of resistances to stay alive, and his ult hardly ever hits someone. It's mostly a distraction. Only play nunu if you want to have a distinct early game advantage by shutting down their jungler and all lanes.
Warwick can be built pure tank (see OddOne's guide), and if you're planning to go that route, warwick is a strong jungler. He's clears the jungle fast and effectively, and contrary to popular belief warwick CAN gank beforre level 6. You'll just need to have a laner land a good stun, and you can proc red buff on them all day long until they die (not exactly a good gank, but it's a 2nd/3rd form of DPS). He's great for control and survivability (against, for instance, nunu counterjungling), and once he gets to level 6 he's got fantastic ganks and he brings a lot to the table in terms of utility late game, unlike nunu.
Cho'gath:
Cho is great for control jungling, but he kind of falls behind in the other aspects. He's actually a fantastic jungler, being able to use virtually any path, kind of like nunu. However, his ganks are mostly reliant on landing a rupture or depending on teammates to get some decent CC on the enemy. Cho'gath is a jungler mostly for control, as his feast stacks not only allow him to jungle safely, but to counter jungle safely as well.
Off-tanks:
Trundle is a great jungler because he's fast, he's strong, and he's got great ganks. What sets him apart from all the other junglers is the fact that he can proc wriggle's with his Q, so the attack speed debuff from dragon doesn't slow him down nearly as much as it does other junglers like Warwick. Having good dragon control is Trundle's forte. He's a great control jungler too, and will easily counter jungle weaker junglers.
Lee Sin is a strong jungler in terms of control. I could say something, but stonewall says it all.
Those are really the only tanks/offtanks worth talking about in competitive play.

I know how to play Amumu, but I need 2 more. I'm thinking of learning Cho'Gath and Nunu since they're awesome junglers, but I'm not sure if Nunu can play the role of tank as well as the two others.
What do you guys think?
