You usually want to delay attack speed on MF because she scales so well with AD and already has a steroid. Just boots and Phantom Dancer are all you need and it's quite common to delay completing the PD until after Last Whisper. If you want to build around her ult you can even forgo AS/crit entirely and just stack Bloodthirsters with a LW.

Yeah pretty much what everybody said.
Although I do sometimes like to get an early Phantom Dancer if skirmishes are long, because then when I run out of mana I can just AA all day. But I'm an attack speed addict.

on ad carry miss fortune, you mostly itemize raw ad and armor pen to go along with being a strong AoE ultibot. rush a BT into last whisper or even a black cleaver if youre very ahead. only get PD if you have a BT and LW/cleaver to compensate for the fact that the damage from your ult will start to wear off.
on-hit mf can be funny but its not as strong nor is it that viably fit in a comp.

You should be rushing Bloodthirster with her ALWAYS, then The Brutalizer or Last Whisper, her power in teamfights is incredible since with a well positioned Bullet Time you can melt a whole team.
