im happy about the death timers being right in your face instead of pressing tab, same thing with the extra stats coming up on the side rather than opening a new window mid game, the less giant windows in my face the better

I don't like it. Everything is too clumped up. They need to separate the active information (minimap, CS and ability cooldowns) from the passive/mostly useless information (ping, game-time and to some extent kills, deaths and assists). There is absolutely NO reason for the passive information to be clumped with the rest, it just causes unnecessary clutter and is distracting as ****. (I'm one that firmly believes the passive information should be added to the TAB window as you have no real reason to look at it unless in base and/or mindlessly jungling)
Also, they should definitely consider moving the champion portraits somewhere else and making them bigger. As a support main who CONSTANTLY uses the champ portraits to target my allies this is going to be a MAJOR pain in the *** to get used to :X
Also, does this really make the FOW THAT much better? Personally I've never been in a situation where the HUD interfered with my vision.

i think having the active information all in one place is better than having your map in one corner, your CS in another corner, cooldowns in one place, and items in a corner

Chances are that you'll be able to scale the new HUD like the current one.
It doesn't look bad at all. It'll take some getting used to, but I prefer it, personally.

I don't that's a problem, I'm not so sure that people still click recall button, although aesthetically it might be in the wrong place.

I'm looking forward to it, but it'll be a problem getting used to the items being on the right. The tears showing when you're OOM makes me cringe, it doesn't really fit in. I bet Riot will gain a lot of response to this so it'll hopefully turn out great.
It would be better if you could place each of these parts by yourself. Changing the size, placing it etc.
