TFT Inkborn Fables Patch 14.11

Inkborn Fables has received a new update update! Read on to learn about all the changes that have gone live yesterday in Teamfight Tactics, including the Rotating Shop, Chibi Ezreal, and more!

 In a Nutshell ‎

Contrasted to the previous bulky TFT patches, Patch 14.10 is fairly gameplay-change lite. There are only a handful of unit changes, and only two Trait changes - Trickshot and Ghostly are both getting buffed.

Outside of the game itself, TFT is getting lots of changes in this patch, however! Two new currencies are being added to the game - Realm Crystals and Mythic Medallions, which you can acquire through the Pass and Pass+ as well as through Treasure Realm pulls. You can spend these currencies in the newly added Rotating Shop in the TFT tab of the client.

Moreover, a new Pass has been added - Inkborn Fables Chapter 2. You can acquire the pass for the usual 1295 RP in the client store, or just make use of the numerous free goodies.

 Rotating Shop ‎

A Rotating Shop will be added to the TFT tab with Patch 14.11, reportedly today, on Thursday. The Rotating Shop is a new kind of store that will offer up various cosmetics, purchasable with two new types of currency  - Realm Crystals and Mythic Medallions. Realm Crystals can be received during Events, Treasure Realm pulls, and you'll even get some through the Chapter 2 Pass. Mythic Medallions can exclusively be obtained in Treasure Realms. Neither currency is directly purchasable.

The Rotating Shop has two tabs - Mythic and Seasonal. The Mythic Tab offers a smaller selection of rotating cosmetics which can be purchased with Mythic Medallions. Most of the cosmetics seem to stay in the shop for six  weeks, though a couple only remain for two weeks. The price of Mythic cosmetics range from 2 Mythic Medallions to 25.

The Seasonal Tab offers a wider range of cosmetics which rotate every two weeks. The cosmetics in this tab are purchasable by Realm Crystals, with prices ranging from 500 to 3000.

 Treasure Realms Changes ‎

Treasure Realms has gotten numerous changes. Firstly, each Treasure Realm pull will now cost 50 Treasure Tokens, instead of 100. Through a newly implemented Milestone Reward track, you’ll be able to get Realm Crystals and Mythic Medallions consistently, while Mythic Medallions are also guaranteed to drop at least once every 50 pulls. You can spend these currencies, of course, in the new Rotating Shop.

Mythic Medallions are essentially replacing the pity counter system, a system which guarantees players a valuable item after a certain number of unsuccessful attempts. As a result of the reduction in price per pull and addition of Mythic Medallion redemptions for mythic content, Riot is also reducing the drop rate of Mythic content from 1% to 0.3%.  Chapter 2 Pass ‎

The second part of the Inkborn Fables Pass will be available for purchase in Patch 14.11! With the free Pass, you'll be able to pick up the Serenity Sprite, 400 Realm Crystals, 300 Star Shards, 50 Treasure Tokens, and a large selection of Emotes. The Pass+, available for 1295 RP grants you two Arena skins, two Booms, five new Little Legends - Shan Hai Scrolls Lightcharger, Battle Academia Duckbill, Inkshadow Dowsie, Koi Hundun, and Fruity-Tooty Poptail, and more currency. To be exact, 200 extra Star Shards, 700 Treasure Tokens, and 600 extra Realm Crystals.

New Little Legend: Chibi Ezreal ‎

A new Little Legend has graced the stage. You can pick up Chibi Ezreal in the store for 1900 RP, alongside the Trueshoot Barrage Boom. You can also pick up Chibi Ezreal in the Rotating Store, in the Seasonal tab, for 3000 Realm Crystals.
