TFT Magic n' Mayhem Patch 14.20

Magic n' Mayhem has received its fifth update! Read on to learn about all the changes that have gone live on Wednesday in Teamfight Tactics.

 In a Nutshell ‎ 


Another fairly large update has hit the game to spice up your lobbies! Of note, there have been several system-wide changes, such as the inclusion of bots in some TFT game lobbies, a buff to all Golems in the game, and a change in the "Let 'Em Cook" portal that's been here since Frying Pans had hit the fray.


Nearly all Crest and Crown Augments have been nerfed so that many Crests no longer grant any champions, only Emblems, whereas Crown Augments now provide components rather than completed items. Several heavy hitters like Hecarim, Twitch, and Varus have been nerfed, while heaps of lower cost units have gotten buffed. There are also a few Charm changes, and Riot has noted that this will be the last patch to include brand new Charms - so, enjoy them!

 Rotating Shop Infographic ‎


The Treasure Realm and Rotating Shop has gotten a new stock once again. For the next three weeks in the Treasure Realms tab, you can now unlock Chibi Star Guardian Akali, and for another two weeks you can still acquire Chibi T1 Orianna or the Blood Moon Night Parade. All of these plus Chibi Dragonmancer Ashe can be purchased for 10 Mythic Medallions in the Mythic section of the Rotating Shop. Mythic Medallions can only be acquired by opening Treasure Bounties in the Treasure Realm tab.


In the Seasonal Rotating Shop, where you can spend your Realm Crystals, you'll find Chibi Orianna and Chibi Akali for 3000 Realm Crystals for the next two weeks, as well as two champion-specific Booms for each. While the 500 Realm Crystal arenas are gone for now, you can still acquire the Count Spatula Arena or the Golden Bakery for 2500 Realm Crystals right now!

 TFT Gets Bots! ‎


Bots can now appear in your TFT games instead of a fellow player, though the likelihood is said to be quite small. They can appear in Normal and Ranked queues, though the odds decrease as you rank up. Bots will never show up in any ranked game where there is even one player ranked Platinum or above.

Star Up Ceremony

The animation that occurs when a unit stars up/combines is now instant instead of having a small delay.


Strongest Unit Logic

Now, if two units are the same character and have the same amount of items, the higher star copy will be registered as the strongest copy, for the purposes of several items and Augments which target "the strongest XYZ".


Golems

Since the Support Golem II Augment has been nerfed, Golems themselves are getting a little buff. THey will now have higher base HP (550 > 600) and more Armor and MR (35 > 40)


Portals

The players have been cooking a little too much. The "Let 'Em Cook" Portal, which gave everyone a Spatula and a Pan at the start of th game, has been removed. Instead, there is now a Portal called "Make 'Em Cook", which provides each player with a Spatula and Frying Pan, but makes it so that Reforges will not drop ever during that match.
